I just discovered your vids and really appreciate your hints and helps, presented clearly. I like to incorporate novelty yarns on occasion as well as weaving with fuzzy yarn, so thanks for your mohair vid too. I subscribed and look forward to watching more.
Hi Sharon! I am making another and will put the warping in the video. Basically I tie on the ribbon yarn to the back beam, run it through the slot to the warping peg and tie it on the back beam again. All other slots/holes are warped with the regular yarn until I get to the next hole that I want the novelty yarn in, then I repeat the process.
Thanks for your videos. BTW you have beautiful hands and nails.
aww that is sweet of you to say. Ironically I ditched a video because my nails were so rough. We have a working farm so I have working woman hands. ;)
from Gerry. I have a bunch of that ribbon yarn. Thanks for the idea! Blessings.
I'm glad it was helpful! That wrap is one of my favorites... the ribbon gives is the perfect amount of "pop". :)
Fill the shuttle in with wood filler! Sand fine!
That is actually a great idea! So annoying using it this way. ;)

I'm so glad you find the videos helpful! Glad to see you here :)
Very gorgeous 🤩
Thank you! 😊
I have found some pure wools to be super stretchy and problematic, thanks for your video, I have made some lovely acrylic weaves.
Wonderful! I agree that acrylics can make lovely finished products and adored by those who can't wear animal fibers. :)
How do you warp this project since you put 2 strands of the ribbon yarn in the holes?
