+Emil Eriksson Well woop di fucking doo, what humor you have my friend. Tell me that druids play malorne more than hunters get him from webspinner od ram wragler
It has been discussed to death already, class cards are allowed to be strictly better than non class cards. The one and only example of power creep is Dr. Boom, and even then there's debate because it's a legendary card so you're only allowed one and blah blah. There's also an official response, they don't see a problem to improve a card so bad that "might as well not exist".
Alan Andersen so what? yes it is a classcard. STILL the game has to be balanced. this is just redicolous and unfair. basicly in 3 years 4 mana creatures are supposed to have 8 8 because every new expansion needs to be stronger than the old one to sell better but also unbalanced?
☑ "This guy's deck is CRAZY!” ☑ “My deck can't win against a deck like that” ☑ "He NEEDED precisely those two cards to win" ☑ “He topdecked the only card that could beat me” ☑ "He had the perfect cards" ☑ “There was nothing I could do” ☑ “I played that perfectly” ☑
I honestly think that Malorne really is an amazing card it's just in the wrong mana spot for druids, ESPECIALLY with the introduction of Troggzor and Dr. Boom. It's simply outclassed from immediate use cards, though it obviously trumps all those cards if it's ever drawn twice. If it was an 8 mana or 6 mana version you would see it run CONSTANTLY
Malome doesn't trump any card if its drawn twice, except maybe a War golem. This legendary isn't played for a good reason. Shuffling a card back into your deck is almost the same as it being destroyed. Its not card advantage, you loose a card draw. Its only really useful if you go into fatigue. Simply put, the difference between drawing Malome twice and drawing a War golem twice is the +2 attack on Malome. That's all. And War golem is a 7 drop with no immediate effect, so its not a card you want to draw even once, let along twice.
H4mmerfall I think the difference between drawing Malorne twice and drawing 2 war golems is that every time Malorne dies, he weighs your draws in the favor of the current situation. If you've played malorne once, it's likely you want to draw him again, because the game is late enough that you need large creatures. So if you have 10 cards left in your deck, and 5 of those are useful late game and 5 are not, Malorne dying stacks those odds in your favor
Hey Kripp! Just wanted to say that I really like how you structure your videos. How you start with a section explaining the concept and then show some clip from your stream is really entertaining to me. Thanks and keep up the great videos!
manaquri Don't you mean every deck? And yeah, but i just think that the stats are very strong for a seven and also it's a beast and that effect and blah blah blah.... I think you all can get me now.
GoregeousGuy autocorrect :/ he also suffers from the deer (cenarius) being really strong. in general, it's good, not just good enough not to craft another epic or legendary instead.
It's hard to say, honestly. You saw the way the Feign Death worked. I think the way the deathrattle is written it would work. "Reshuffle THIS MINION into your deck." After it is reshuffled the minion is gone and can't be reshuffled again. I don't think it would work.
I think this card is great in the handlock match, one of the hardest match ups for Druid, It trades with 9/9 molten giants, Druid doesn't have much to take out the 9/9 giants once they are up besides Big Game and Black Knight
"This guy's deck is crazy" ☑ “My deck can't win against a deck like that” ☑ "He NEEDED precisely those two cards to win" ☑ “He topdecked the only card that could beat me” ☑ "He had the perfect cards" ☑ “There was nothing I could do” ☑ “I played that perfectly" ☑ "What a joke"
Imo malorne is a great card, he works great in ramp druids bc you have a bunch of huge monsters with high attacks on the field at all times and since you have a bigger mana pool and cards like innervate, you may get multiple large monsters on the field at once
druid mill has improved greatly since gvg and I had a lot of success with it, tree of life combined with the nax poison seeds starfall/thalnos+swipe combo is super potent, it negates the weakness druids have against a board full of beefy creatures
I wonder if malorne was your last card on the board and 0 cards in the deck, you had 2 damage fatigue and then malorne dies and goes back into your deck and played again.. does it start again at 2 fatigue or does the fatigue damage begin from 1 again?
It would resume at 3, I think. In any case, if you wanted your Malorne to protect you from fatigue damage for as long as possible, you'd need him to die every turn, and that probably wouldn't happen.
Your deck is filled with 60 cards. 30 you can choose, the other 30 are -1, -2, -... health and are always in the same order after ur 30 chosen ones. If u mix Malorne back into ur deck you just lay it on the top and draw. So fatigue would start where it left off.
Dorlok9 What happened if someone survive all those 30 turns? Druid verus Druid: Hand: Time Rewinder,Millhouse,Tree of Life,Claw(any armor spell) Board: Cho
Problem with malorne is that, even if you do get to that late game, if that 1 silence hasn't gone yet that malorne could be 1 iron beak owl and 1 big game hunter away from all your late game straight out the fuckin window.
ChemicalExplosion its problem of many other card/legendary`s etc.For example if you put silence on sylvana->5/5 unit for 6 mana wich do nothing. You cant resolve this problem, same with hex .
ChemicalExplosion Dr.Balanced cant be nerfed with this 4 cards :D .P.s. Im nervious more about Dr. balanced, then about Malorne potential.(I hate dr balanced)Btw you dont have a lot of cards which cant be stopped with silence/poly/hex and i think its normal.Onyxya/Balanced/druid legendary(forget name) and not much with battle cry like Alextraza
I'm just wondering, but wouldn't Malorne be in some sort of ramp druid deck, or some sort of control druid deck, since it looks like it's one of those cards that would be handy on those slow matches?
I personally use malorne in 99% of my druid decks. I reach rank 9-10 every month. Nothing amazing but I feel like malorne is godlike. It's the jesus legendary.
For anyone who thinks this card is very good and kinda unbalanced. 7 mana is costy, While his deathrattle can prevent fatigue, it can clog your deck because you need Naturalize to kill Ragnaros and instead you get Malorne. Attack of 9 equals Big Game Hunter bait.
Not sure iff some1 asked already, but can you make it trigger twice with the Naxx double deathrattle trigger effect? And it's probably not viable more gimmicky, but it says shuffle THIS minion back into your deck. Does that mean the minion actually goes away with the first one or it just works like normal ?
Funny thing is, Malorne was my first legendary (he showed up in in one of the packs I got from a 2 win arena), from my experiences he tends to get silenced a lot if the opponent has either Spell Breaker or Iron Beak Owl which seem to be on every other deck.
I have been playing Druid for most of GVG so far and have never, not even once been able to play Druid of the Fang as a 7/7. The situation where you can and would want to just never seems to happen. The fact that Malorne is a beast is almost irrelevant.
I don't do constructed much, but in arena it happens all the time for me. At the very worst, it's turn ten Druid of the Claw into Druid of the Fang. Usually you can pull it off with a Stealth Panther or Tiger that is basically guaranteed to survive the turn. If you can never pull it off, why not try throwing stealth tigers in your deck? At least those guys have synergy with the force combo.
Andrew Cheng That's why ragnaros and ysera are so good. They always do something on the turn they are played so even if the opponent has hex or polymorph you still get value.
Simon G But still, you're much better off with another 7 drop. This is only better than other 7 drops if you do get to use it several times which only happens if it drags on to lategame.
MAATIR I will say it is on par with the best 7 drops, disregarding the deathrattle. It is as good as Ancient of War, because while Malorne is weak to Big Game Hunter, Ancient of War is weak to silence. Only Dr. Boom really beats Marlorne without the deathrattle. And you can only run one Dr. Boom.
I always felt there is something wrong with the shuffeling algorithm, when I mulligan one card, I sooooo often draw it as my first card... seems the same here with Malorne
I don't dislike the gvg videos as long as you show something funny, but are you going to play something 'new' soon please ? Doesn't matter the genre, I just want to expect something else than Hearthstone in the next month or so
Kripparian isn't a hearthstone channel, lol. It's a channel where he plays and makes videos regarding the games he is currently playing and right now that happens to be Hearthstone.
Demand and supply, bro. As long as he gets his views why should he change the program? I personally somewhat like his HS vids. Can't even tell why. OR he just enjoys HS that much that he doesn't want to play something else.
sooo what happend when you have kel'thuzad on the board and then you kill your malorne does he comes back or he returns to your deck like it does in the video with feing death
um. if you cabal shadow the malorne, at 10:03...and then manage to KILL it...does it shuffle into YOUR deck? even tho the mind control only works for the remainder of the turn? second question. at 10:49, he caballed a bot, if he had recombolated the bot, would the effect taht returns the bot back to their turn disappear?
If malrone died on his board it would go into his deck, im talking about kripp. And if recombolated a minon with deathrattel effect it woulndnt trigger, beacuse it didnt die.
Conundrum Yeah that game it appeared good because that's how he presented it. That's the whole reason he made the long ass preface, basically bashing it lol
So it's only bad if the opponent takes the trouble to get rid of it before using cards that will benefit you if they use them? Don't get me wrong, i'm not saying it's good, just saying people are far too critical for no reason.
If malorne is the last card in someone's deck, and this person is taking fatigue damage, when malorne goes back into the deck, does it reset the fatigue back to 1 dmg?
I do understand why some people dislike this card, but it has personally won me quite a few games in my ramp druid deck. It's great for baiting removal time and time over in a single game, I don't have to worry as much about my other big stuff getting shat on. I personally really like Malorne
what other big stuff, Dr boom? Ya that doesn't matter when he gets bgh, rag? Already gets 8 damage in so doesn't matter. So you would spend 7 mana to protect something that doesn't needs to be protected
getting malorne from webspinner can make for some insane games. i was climbing the ladder and when i was on 10 the same hunter deck (without the cho) did this to my quartermuster paladin. drew malorne for 2 consecutive turns and killed me.
My problem with Malorne is that with the meta the way it is, if you play him turn 7, your opponent essentially says, 'so what' and hits face. I ran an 'Outlast' Druid with moderate success, Malorne, Tree of Life, Clockwork Giants, Naturalise, and even THE COMBO for burst. Floundered against aggro but otherwise effective.
I've been playing with a druid deck like the one kripp mentioned in this episode. While it might not be the greatest considering every single deck I've faced that's not a priest has been aggro it can be hilarious fun as it's based on getting to the late game on turn 4 and having the opponent waste all their hard removal on your not so strong creatures. I haven't got too much gold/money, so there are cards I would replace, but here's the list: 2x innervate (fast late game + turn 10 ancient of war + faceless) 1x mark of the wild (bigger taunts + getting otherwise not taunt cards taunt) 2x wild growth (fast late game) 2x wrath (just good removal) 2x healing touch (to be replaced with tree of life) 2 because of the aggro meta 2x grove tender (best for turn 1 coin wild growth turn 2 tender turn 3 nourish turn 4 ironbark) 2x swipe (who doesn't run this?) 2x nourish (card draw + easy fast late game) 2x druid of the claw (sometimes draws aggro hard removal and great taunt) 2x faceless manipulator (the best part of the deck imo) 1x loatheb (probably replaced with higher cost card like malorne) 2x sludge belcher (sometimes draws aggro hard removal and a great taunt) 1x ancient of lore (2 is too much card draw) 2x ancient of war (obvious) 2x ironbark protector (just a massive taunt) 1x kel'thuzad (insane when the opponent runs out of hard removal considering the ammount of taunts) 1x ragnaros (fun with faceless but could be replaced) 1x sneeds old shredder (insane with kel'thuzad and faceless)
Dude, not running 2x lore, but running 2x faceless, 2x ironbark and 2x war means you either don't care about winning or that you are really bad at making decks. Also, 2 nourish is just way too slow. This decks has no realistic chance of getting past rank 5. The idea is very fun, however, so props for that. Also, if I've ever seen a good deck for tree of life, this is it. I am almost a Druid only player and I have to say that the chances of winning games consistently without the Force+Savage combo are minimal.
iamanitisocial I didn't design it to be a good deck just fun. It doesn't get very far in the rankings as I'm floating around rank 14/13, but it can be surprisingly good against aggro on some occasions. Also, the main reason I don't have two lores in this deck is because I just don't have enough dust.
Hey Krip, I love your channel and it's taught me so much. I recently got Malorne in a pack and watched this vid of how good you think he is. Since this video is before tgt and more cards have been added to the game, could you consider a control beast druid deck with Malorne to be good in today's meta of hearthstone?
Cazooka I see what you mean. So if the death ratle trigger twice you would basicly shuffle Malorne in to your deck, tak it back out and shuffle it in one more time. So you still only have one of him in the deck.
I searched for it XD Malorne's behaviour has changed in Patch 4.0. Previously he was coded to send himself to SETASIDE and shuffle a new copy into the deck, which is why Malorne + Baron Rivendare put two copies of Malorne in your deck. (Recycle did and still works this way.) However, as of Patch 4.0, he directly shuffles himself into your Deck (like how Entomb works). This means that Baron Rivendare + Malorne no longer shuffles two copies into your deck, but just one.
+Sindre Eide. ........not true. Baron+ malorne's death= 2 malorne shuffled in ur deck. I use a Druid death rattle deck with Reno....so when that happens Reno will not work. Jus a heads up if anyone tries.
☑ “This guy's deck is CRAZY!” ☑ “My deck can't win against a deck like that” ☑ "He NEEDED precisely those two cards to win" ☑ “He topdecked the only card that could beat me” ☑ "He had the perfect cards" ☑ “There was nothing I could do” ☑ “I played that perfectly"
I did 10-3 and 9-3 in arena with a hunter even that I'm a totally impatient noob in HS. Once I drew Malorne from webspinner and used it as a charger, the rekt was real.
I feel like it should also be pointed out, that Malorne will increase the average strength of the card you draw after it dies. If it dies after you've drawn 10 cards, it increases the average power of the cards in your deck probably between 0.25 and 0.5 attack value. In other words, theres less chance you draw a shitty minion overall.
16:20 Kripp could've Slyvanas, shrinkmeist, shadow word: pain the sylvanas and get either a feugen that will spawn thad on death, or thad which would give him a better board.
Many ppl overlooked baron rivendare. This card is sick in xixo zoo instead of sea giant. It many times spawned me two 4/4 from egs or multiple harvest golems, spiders for jogler or 2x2 dmg from hug goblin.
6/27 + 6/27 + 2C2+25C4/27C6 = the chance to draw at least 1 of the duplicates by turn six going first = 48.71% There's a 50% chance you draw one of the tree's before turn 6 (when you go first and always mulligan them away). It's higher going second. considering the chance you draw reno by turn 6 is around 20% that's not bad.
My biggest issue with malorne is not BGH - my biggest issue is zoo. ATM the meta is so aggressive that you have to put a lot of anti-aggro stuff in your deck, so you are probably limited to 5 heavy Cards in your deck. If you already run ancient of war and ancient of lore twice, you'll have only one spot left and there are definitly better big legendaries than malorne.
This card has seen A LOT of constructed play.... in midrange hunter decks
+Emil Eriksson Well woop di fucking doo, what humor you have my friend. Tell me that druids play malorne more than hunters get him from webspinner od ram wragler
lol I get it!
+Atlas dont you mean huntard =3
+Euan Baxter Aaaaahhhh :D
War Golem
7 Mana 7:7
Malorne
7 Mana 9:7
+Beast +Deathrattle
"Rarity does not correspond to strength" -Blizzard
Hearthstone is p2w confirmed
Actully it does thats y its hard to get legendaryplus war golam is shit probably the worst card in the game
shuvo rahman lol no that honor goes to magma rager
HEMET...
***** haven't you figured that out seeing Dr. Boom ? 7:7 + 2x 1:1 that are mechs ...
Dr. Boom is a better comparison. Malorne is a class card, they are always stronger. Or haven't you compared Voidwalker to Goldshire Footman?
power creep-> malorne: 9/7 beast with great deathrattle
war golem: 7/7
It's a class card. Class cards are stronger. It's also a legendary.
If you had to compare every card to war golem this game would be slow and boring as shit.

TheMehkey It's not unfair in the slightest. Some cards are bad. War Golem is a BAD card by all standards.
I played against more hunters with Malorne than druids with it.
Also dat game. Rngstone at its finest ... nough said.
How does that work its a Druid only card
P.S I'm noob
thedaggermaster
You can get any beast from Webspinner, including Malorne
thedaggermaster The Webspinner gave it to him because Malorne is a beast.
thedaggermaster webspinner can pull malorne since he is a beast. Even though he's class only
thedaggermaster Webspinner gives hunter a random beast. Malorne is a beast, even if he is druid specific.
I`m dissapointed guys... skip the kripp 7:35
I honestly think that Malorne really is an amazing card it's just in the wrong mana spot for druids, ESPECIALLY with the introduction of Troggzor and Dr. Boom. Yeah. Malorne in any other class would have immediately been used, but Druid is like the only class that has always had good stuff to do on turn 7.

still watching those amazing videos 2 years later :)

This guy is going to be crazy with N'Zoth The Corruptor.
*in Wild
anubarak
Madibooox 6 months in and still no malorne nzoth deck
because wild isnt a thing dipshit
It is a 9|7 for 7 mana.
Why even question if it's good?
GoregeousGuy it's good, but not great enough to replace boom or another card. Still it's a core hound with +2 health at least.
manaquri But i mean it's above the average stats of a seven drop.
GoregeousGuy he fits in the kel'thusad category of legendary, where it's a good card, but not that great so every deck plays it.
manaquri Don't you mean every deck?
And yeah, but i just think that the stats are very strong for a seven and also it's a beast and that effect and blah blah blah....
I think you all can get me now.

he also suffers from the deer (cenarius) being really strong. in general, it's good, not just good enough not to craft another epic or legendary instead.
UPDATE: It is 2021 and Malorne is not yet in a #1 legend deck
I remember playing Malorne druid against control hunter...misdirection in my face for 9 felt so good
That Shadow Word: Death that he played at 17:47 was from the Lorewalker Cho, Saltarrian.
The question is.
Would this work alongside Baron Rivendare? Malorne cloning?
Yes
kel'thuzad
It's hard to say, honestly. You saw the way the Feign Death worked. I think the way the deathrattle is written it would work. "Reshuffle THIS MINION into your deck." After it is reshuffled the minion is gone and can't be reshuffled again. I don't think it would work.

17:50 was the greatest "WHAT?!" moment in a long time.
I think they should bump up starting health to 35 life. 30 seems so low now with so good aggro decks out there.
But that will make it like, impossible to kill warrior.
they already bumped up the starting life to 46. antique healbot says hi.
I love watching these videos when I need a good nap thanks kripp!
Malorne was my first legendary and now I fukin main Druid since I got it. Malorne = victory
Mine was Dr. Boom , he carried me to rank 9
I got sylvanas
My first was the mighty Millhouse Manastorm!
Imo malorne is a great card, he works great in ramp druids bc you have a bunch of huge monsters with high attacks on the field at all times and since you have a bigger mana pool and cards like innervate, you may get multiple large monsters on the field at once

Ye360 FMLG I've heard that if the game goes past turn 50 the game ends in a draw.
6:50 best moment
I got golden malorne, my friend told me to disenchant it And create dr. Boom, was it worth it?
Ronald van Den Berg nah you should've kept it and just waited to get dr.boom.
Ronald van Den Berg Never disenchant Golden Legendary, only if they complete CRAP like Lorewolker CHo or Helmet :)
Robin95HipHop Or Bolvar
Why must you have remove it? It's really good Dr.Boom is Used alot
Ronald van Den Berg yes, you got the best legendary for one that is hardly usable.
He got "Shadow word: death" from Lorewalker Cho, not from thoughtsteal...
Problem with malorne is that, even if you do get to that late game, if that 1 silence hasn't gone yet that malorne could be 1 iron beak owl and 1 big game hunter away from all your late game straight out the fuckin window.

Malorne is quite dope
I will name my first born son Malorne.
Ora ndor NOW Malorne is broken op, because of the combos, or beast druid witch is insane, but before he was kind of meh
I've been using Malorne ever since he came out
He was always decent but would sometimes hit in the meta and be godlike
Kirp have you seen that card combined with the Kel'Thuzad? does it make a copy put it into your deck then revive?
For anyone who thinks this card is very good and kinda unbalanced. 7 mana is costy, While his deathrattle can prevent fatigue, it can clog your deck because you need Naturalize to kill Ragnaros and instead you get Malorne. Attack of 9 equals Big Game Hunter bait.
+Raven Knight Vincent and an attack of 7 also gives bgh bait.
zetawave55 Well that's what is written at the end of my comments.
Raven Knight Vincent doesn't stop the ultimate wargolem! jk doesn't stop dictator boom
+Raven Knight Vincent Ragnaros is shit lmao
Hingle McCringleberry Why are you talking about Rag?
Not sure iff some1 asked already, but can you make it trigger twice with the Naxx double deathrattle trigger effect? And it's probably not viable more gimmicky, but it says shuffle THIS minion back into your deck. Does that mean the minion actually goes away with the first one or it just works like normal ?
recently got malorne out 3 times in a single match vs a priest, it was glorious xD
Funny thing is, Malorne was my first legendary (he showed up in in one of the packs I got from a 2 win arena), from my experiences he tends to get silenced a lot if the opponent has either Spell Breaker or Iron Beak Owl which seem to be on every other deck.

lkjkhfggd its not even that big of effect to put so much effort in it
With me Druid of the fang works quite well
If you're gonna run Druid of the Fang, you better have the effect go off. A 5 mana 4/4 is awful dude.
lkjkhfggd exactly, don't run it
If you mind control it as a priest does it gets shuffled into your deck if it dies?
It's too slow and situational. But I like the concept.
Also, silence/hex = goodbye Malorne.
Hex is a goodbye to everything other than spell immunes though.
Andrew Cheng That's why ragnaros and ysera are so good. They always do something on the turn they are played so even if the opponent has hex or polymorph you still get value.
I don't think it is right to call it situational. He has got good stats, even if you don't need his deathrattle.

But still, you're much better off with another 7 drop. This is only better than other 7 drops if you do get to use it several times which only happens if it drags on to lategame.
MAATIR
I will say it is on par with the best 7 drops, disregarding the deathrattle.
You should make an entire video in Romanian. With subtitles. I'd love to see what you sound like in it.
16:20 would have loved to see Sylvanas -> Shrinkmeister (on Sylvanas) -> Shadow Word: Pain on Sylvans -> steal Thaddius
Meloch Toloompa It hasn't always been a hearthstone channel.
cardstone bestest gaem ever
sorry dude, he want to get all golden cards, still 200k dusts to go
Demand and supply, bro.
6:50 Keepo
:3
um. if you cabal shadow the malorne, at 10:03...and then manage to KILL it...does it shuffle into YOUR deck? even tho the mind control only works for the remainder of the turn?
second question. at 10:49, he caballed a bot, if he had recombolated the bot, would the effect taht returns the bot back to their turn disappear?
so he could have stolen Malorne then! or at least waited a turn...... man that would have been more cool
still don't know about the second question
or if you had a spell to reduce the attack, right, nvm
thanks
If malrone died on his board it would go into his deck, im talking about kripp. And if recombolated a minon with deathrattel effect it woulndnt trigger, beacuse it didnt die.
So this "lorewalker cho" hunter with malorne, who happens to draw malorne 3 times in a row, is a proof of malorne being a good card?
YR2050 Did you not hear him basically bashing the card for 7 minutes?
***** That Cho got the hunter death thoughtsteal lightbomb..... Pretty good card that game i'd say.
Conundrum He didn't thoughsteal lightbomb or death... he got the death and lightbomb from cho, and the sylvanas from thoughtsteal lol
If malorne is the last card in someone's deck, and this person is taking fatigue damage, when malorne goes back into the deck, does it reset the fatigue back to 1 dmg?
Silence malorne?
Btw cute cat
I do understand why some people dislike this card, but it has personally won me quite a few games in my ramp druid deck. It's great for baiting removal time and time over in a single game, I don't have to worry as much about my other big stuff getting shat on. I personally really like Malorne
what other big stuff, Dr boom? Ya that doesn't matter when he gets bgh, rag? Already gets 8 damage in so doesn't matter. So you would spend 7 mana to protect something that doesn't needs to be protected
i meant, dr. boom, ancients of war, one ironbark, etc. etc.
wtf the stats are great for a 7 drop
+Fingers998 7/7 summon two 1/1 boom bots that deal 1-4 damage to a random enemy on death
+Fingers998 the stats arent bad, the distribution is bad, a 7/9 or a 8/8 is better than a 9/7
8/8 is worse than 9/7 because it does 1 less damage to face SMOrc
getting malorne from webspinner can make for some insane games. i was climbing the ladder and when i was on 10 the same hunter deck (without the cho) did this to my quartermuster paladin. drew malorne for 2 consecutive turns and killed me.
Nobody moves there fucking head as much as this guy does like wtf thats not natural
+LostxToxAxSnail I think he is drug addicted or something.
+LostxToxAxSnail Watch a person who is talking on the phone.
He's a mana addict
Why aren't there any removal cards that kill minions without triggering deathrattles? That could be really strong and flavorful at the same time.
Coz that would be op, also That's silance
Makingnewnamesisdumb There is. Polymorph, Hex, Recycle...
I meant actual removal, obviously. Like, that thing is dead, end of discussion. No becoming a stupid weenie, no bouncing to your hand. Just dead.
Makingnewnamesisdumb Well y'know, Earth Shock with Malygos is pretty good at that.
Sorry if I missed something, but isn't malorne a Druid legendary and not a hunter?
And when he got summoned there was no "created by webspinner"
around 17:00 could have sylvanas lightbomb to get feugen and the second thadius
My problem with Malorne is that with the meta the way it is, if you play him turn 7, your opponent essentially says, 'so what' and hits face. I ran an 'Outlast' Druid with moderate success, Malorne, Tree of Life, Clockwork Giants, Naturalise, and even THE COMBO for burst. Floundered against aggro but otherwise effective.
Is this good with baron rivendare in a deathrattle druid deck?
Kripp can u put to the description when gameplay starts? Nothing wrong with talking or anything, just wanna see the gameplay :D
Ok... I am really confused how does a hunter have the card if it is a Druid Card? Or was that just krip's idea?
I've been playing with a druid deck like the one kripp mentioned in this episode. While it might not be the greatest considering every single deck I've faced that's not a priest has been aggro it can be hilarious fun as it's based on getting to the late game on turn 4 and having the opponent waste all their hard removal on your not so strong creatures. I haven't got too much gold/money, so there are cards I would replace, but here's the list:
2x innervate (fast late game + turn 10 ancient of war + faceless)
1x mark of the wild (bigger taunts + getting otherwise not taunt cards taunt)
2x wild growth (fast late game)
2x wrath (just good removal)
2x healing touch (to be replaced with tree of life) 2 because of the aggro meta
2x grove tender (best for turn 1 coin wild growth turn 2 tender turn 3 nourish turn 4 ironbark)
2x swipe (who doesn't run this?)
2x nourish (card draw + easy fast late game)
2x druid of the claw (sometimes draws aggro hard removal and great taunt)
2x faceless manipulator (the best part of the deck imo)
1x loatheb (probably replaced with higher cost card like malorne)
2x sludge belcher (sometimes draws aggro hard removal and a great taunt)
1x ancient of lore (2 is too much card draw)
2x ancient of war (obvious)
2x ironbark protector (just a massive taunt)
1x kel'thuzad (insane when the opponent runs out of hard removal considering the ammount of taunts)
1x ragnaros (fun with faceless but could be replaced)
1x sneeds old shredder (insane with kel'thuzad and faceless)
Dude, not running 2x lore, but running 2x faceless, 2x ironbark and 2x war means you either don't care about winning or that you are really bad at making decks. Also, 2 nourish is just way too slow. This decks has no realistic chance of getting past rank 5. The idea is very fun, however, so props for that. Also, if I've ever seen a good deck for tree of life, this is it. I am almost a Druid only player and I have to say that the chances of winning games consistently without the Force+Savage combo are minimal.
I find even having 1 Nourish is too slow against all the aggro decks I'm facing : P
iamanitisocial I didn't design it to be a good deck just fun. It doesn't get very far in the rankings as I'm floating around rank 14/13, but it can be surprisingly good against aggro on some occasions. Also, the main reason I don't have two lores in this deck is because I just don't have enough dust.
At 17:52 he had the shadow word death because he didn't actually use it yet, not because he thought stole it.
13:07, the better play; hit cho with recombobulator, then give cho whirling blades, then hit the golom with the death goblin, then lightbomb.
13:20, even with that play, he could have still done board clear with pain on the sheep.
Hey Krip, I love your channel and it's taught me so much. I recently got Malorne in a pack and watched this vid of how good you think he is. Since this video is before tgt and more cards have been added to the game, could you consider a control beast druid deck with Malorne to be good in today's meta of hearthstone?
If a player has Rivendare and Malorne is killed, does the card duplicate?
does kripp have a twitch?
how did the hunter play malorne??
What happens if Deathlord is on the Board?
Any 1 know what deck, the hunter was playing??
What does mill and token mean?
Would Malorne + Baron Rivendare work so you get two Malorne in to your deck?
Yes, it works. Obviousely
+VoodooBubble No, it doesn't. The card says 'Shuffle THIS minion into your deck' it doesn't create a copy. You'll only have one Malorne
Cazooka I see what you mean. So if the death ratle trigger twice you would basicly shuffle Malorne in to your deck, tak it back out and shuffle it in one more time. So you still only have one of him in the deck.
I searched for it XD
Malorne's behaviour has changed in Patch 4.0.
I wonder how this with kt would do
☑ “This guy's deck is CRAZY!” ☑ “My deck can't win against a deck like that” ☑ "He NEEDED precisely those two cards to win" ☑ “He topdecked the only card that could beat me” ☑ "He had the perfect cards" ☑ “There was nothing I could do” ☑ “I played that perfectly"
Lol, had a feeling it would be this match against Furak. Chat was going bananas.
How did the hunter get malorne? I'm kinda new sorry
Me and my friend did have A LOT of fun with this card.
baron rivendare + Malorne + Faceless :) You can make a DECENT beast deck with Malorine in it.
Malorne + Innervate + Faceless on turn 10 = Kreygasm
where can i get your shirt???
16:30 Shrink the Feugen, Shadow word pain, Go face with Mogor, Lightbomb
+Sam Whillance No guarantee with Mogar
If the mogor had hit the Feugen he wouldn't have had to waste the Shrink and the pain
LoL at 10:40 you could reduce malorne dmg and steal it hue hue ( 2 + 6 = 8 )
how can i use cards of different character like this hunter, he used malorne from druid's deck?
But does the fatigue damage count reset? Do you send malorne to die, draw him next turn and the turn after that suffer 1 damage?
Fatigue never resets.
Legends Never die.
And Chuck Norris lives longer.
My first Golden Legendary. It's actually good, especially on control deck.
Yes if you don't have dr boom or other druid legendary
Solitude My second and last legendary, drew it yesterday. lets see if i can use it. ^^
It's actually preeeeeety good.
Hunter with cho? anyone knows the decklist?
Many ppl overlooked baron rivendare. This card is sick in xixo zoo instead of sea giant. It many times spawned me two 4/4 from egs or multiple harvest golems, spiders for jogler or 2x2 dmg from hug goblin.
"Combo wombo" distracted me for the whole video
kripp at 16.40 you could've play sylvana's into minus attack into swp into your sylvana's that would've been crazy
Holy crap! I had never realized that if this card is compared to War Golem this card is insane!
what happens if you deathrattle it without killing it
If malorne gets played again and dies does he put another copy in your deck? I don't have the card and I have never seen it played before
PolateGaming It's a constant cycle of shuffling if he keeps dying normally.
I missed, how did Hunter get word of death?
let me just say, getting malorne in a hunter deck is soooo fun.
you can get him off webspinners, its really great.
If rogue had that deathrattle ability on a minion (not Anub'arak), it could synergize well with Gang Up.
how did he have malorne when he was a hunter?
What about double tree of life and Reno in the same deck with Malorne?
reno didnt came out that time.
6/27 + 6/27 + 2C2+25C4/27C6 = the chance to draw at least 1 of the duplicates by turn six going first = 48.71%
There's a 50% chance you draw one of the tree's before turn 6 (when you go first and always mulligan them away). It's higher going second.
considering the chance you draw reno by turn 6 is around 20% that's not bad.
Malorne + Tundra Rhino?
7:37 game starts!
You are there for us when Skipperino Kripperino isn't. My thanks.
16:38 First the lightbomb THEN the shrink and after that the shadow of pain. Missplayed!
