I don't think merely by passing an exam, one will acquire the expetise to write a book. It takes lot many years of experience to put it into words.

For ur kind information she has not just passed the examination infact she has secured third rank which is not everyone's cup of tea.... I believe she is qualified enough to publish her own book coz she has published her books on the basis of her hardwork, dedication,efforts,consistency and sincerity ....and I guess exp. Should be counted on the above criteria and not on the no. Of years as far as publishing book is concerned...
It's not a "mere" school unit test exam. It's UPSC, one of the toughest exam in the world and she has experienced failure once and if she is helping others to secure marks, why are you bothered about that
You don't know anything man. She wrote the book about the academic and non academic aspects of the exam she ended up securing the third rank. Responding to your sentence, her success and understanding of the exam is sufficient to transfer the expertise required to write the book into her own words.
