Great predictions. I'd like to see the relay tie happening. I think there will be 5 swim offs over the 9 days. I think GB will get 5 medal's.😃
5 swim offs would be incredible!!
my take is Australian women freestyle swimmers are too strong for the US swimmers to tackle especially for these 100m, 200m, 4x100m and 4 x200m. Unless something miracle happened in a year, something extra ordinary must be taking place.
Not arguing with any of those, Aus should win all pretty comfortably 🇦🇺
Leon really only the fav for the 400IM right now. Also 400IM is second day in Paris.
Who's your fav for the 200m IM then?
How about two GB women to win individual medals? I’m thinking possibles are Abbie in the 200m IM (stacked field), Katie in the 200m back and Freya in the 200m free. Or A real long shot Amelie in the 1500m…
LOVE this optimism! Katie and Abbie look like the stronger two of your predicted ones, always and outside shot for Anna Hopkin in the 50m Free as well.
@@propulsionswimmingpodcast Very guilty of being an over-optimistic homer when it comes to GB hopes! I really hope the women get the attention/accolades they deserve since recent years have all been about the men. My other ridiculously bold prediction which some will view as blasphemous BUT, Duncan (with a less manic schedule than usual) to take down Marchand in the 200 IM at the superstar's home games! I'm hoping we get a real contest on the final 50m :)
Olympic Games in Atlanta 1996. Men's Swimming. Individual Gold medals in Men's Swimming.
2 USA. Jeff Rouse. Brad Bridgewater. Tom Dolan. only (3) three Individual Gold medals.
1. RUS. Alexander Popov. Denis Pankratov. only (4) four Individual Gold medals.
Men's Swimming. Individual Gold medals in Men's Swimming. Olympic Games in Atlanta 1996 check: USA 🇺🇸 - RUS.🇷🇺. 3 - 4.
Britain are winning 1 gold the 4x200. Adam getting a medal ill be mighty impressed. 200 is a luck of the draw and I think we have been too lucky.
We are going to debate this closer to the Olympics, but hypothetically what is more impressive, Adam getting a Gold or his WR swim.

My take is that Australia get a medal in all freestyle events - mens and womens - except the Men's 200 Free.
Lovely podcast. Will the Russians swim in Paris. If so Kolesnikov Rylov & Chikunova will be (gold) medal prospects😊
Pretty certain Rylov isn't going to be allowed back because of his public support of the war, but I may be wrong.
IF Russians are allowed to race, which in itself is a different topic altogether, the other two will be right up there around the podium.
I think US will win 100 free relay both medaly and mix medaly.. They will perform better than Tokyo

Now Kyle has publicly said this is his last Olympics BUT wants to race on after Paris, so if he does continue do you lose this prediction?

Ooooo that's a really interesting one, and we will take this sandwich proposition!!
Can see it in potentially M 200m Free, M 200m IM (just happened at worlds so stupid to argue otherwise) beyond that however the third is a tougher prospect!
Where do you think the other medals come from?
How about the M 100free? A tough ask but out of the realms of possibility?
One of the toughest events to predict at this point given world interest, can see and hope Matt gets his hand on the wall... who's the second medal?
