Tim couch wasn’t that bad. Dwight Clark forgot to draft Offensive lineman to protect him. And the skill position players that they drafted outside of KJ85 sucked. Morgan, Northcutt, and Davis when your could of had Driver, Smith Sr, Chad Johnson, and Deion Branch, Coles, Dante Hall.

I think the biggest bust for the Cowboys was Taco Charlton. Especially with TJ Watt available.
Knowing that the Cowboys draft room was debating on Taco or Watt makes it even more painful.

Bengals in the 1985 draft took Eddie Brown receiver, should’ve took Jerry rice who went 3 picks later. I wasn’t alive but three years later, The San Francisco 49ers beat the Bengals in the Super Bowl 20 to 16. Jerry Rice was the MVP had 215 yards

And for the Redskins, RW3 would have been just as ruined as RG3, because Shannahan always ruins their black stud by riding them into the ground. He did it his entire coaching career.

I feel like the hard choice for the Packers in this hypothetical is which Sanders to take, Barry or Deion? Deion Sanders in that defense would definitely have been something, but having Barry Sanders and Brett Favre in the same offense (not to mention taking Barry Sanders away from a division rival in the process) is pretty hard to pass up -- and that's before you even consider that pairing them together could actually have produced *even more* than each of them did separately.

Some of these are decidedly unfair. In my mind, a bust is someone who simply doesn't get it done. If injuries are the reason, I can't hit them with that label. Steve Emtman is a good example. If he had been healthy, he likely makes his share of Pro Bowls. Moss slipped, not due to talent, but off the field issues. The Vikings had Cris Carter to act as "Big Brother", which made it a better fit. Paxton Lynch graded out better athletically than pretty much any QB in his class, including Prescott. Problem....mechanics are often an issue for those beyond a certain height. He was a project who fit the scheme well. Prescott, was drafted where he should have been. Dallas was as shocked as anyone when he stepped right in . Personally, given that they ran the Shanahan offense at the time, I wanted Atlanta to take Dak as an heir to Ryan and deal Matt for a package of picks within a couple of years at the most.

The 49ers didn't draft Josh Rosen, the Cardinals did. The 49ers drafted Alex Smith instead of Rodgers. While Rodgers is a better QB than Smith, had Rodgers gone to the 49ers in 05, he would have had a much worse career than Smith did. Smith was mentally tough enough to allow him to overcome the 49ers, Rodgers can't even handle deserved criticism without crying like a little b!+(h.
