Mal looked Madddddd uncomfortable first 5 minutes of this particular podcast. He wasn't ready-ready to talk about today's topic. He didn't say but one word or two that entire first 6 minutes.
Rory made me really proud in this segment. He's really come a long way since the early days of being visibly and easily offended.
edit: what made me especially proud was the no-nonsense stance he took in regards to R.Kelly. He was holding no prisoners and really took a stance that was super real and unapologetic. He thinks really critically and his ideas and thought processes shine when he isn't held back by needing a cosign or to be respected. Oddly enough, Joe has more respect for him (it seems) because he won't be budged and isn't as easily influenced by Joe's manipulative way of flipping the convo in his favour.

I agree with the Rory part but at the same time I understand the hesitance to speak so freely, with little or no thought to your words, on a topic that's so heavy and goes so deep. I appreciate what Rory said but I don't blame Joe or Mal for being careful with the things they said. As a female who has been in a situation like that I'm still careful of the language I use so as to not trigger anyone else or to trigger myself.

That part about Joe saying 90% of the women he talked to has been abused is sooo true. Me personally, I know five to six women already who have been severely raped. And traumatized by it. I possibly know more its just that they never told me. And it is scary. Fellas hear me out on this. This could be a major reason why women seem to have this disliking towards men. And in our eyes or mind, we always thinking she acting stank, or perceiving you as less when that is not the case. In reality she's afraid of letting herself go for you to see because of the damage done.. She's afraid of whether you would take advantage of soemthing that has been abused already, or be too embarrassed or ashamed to even start a relationship with her because of what happened to her and also put of with the struggles she's dealing with. Would it be enough for you to handle when in a relationship with her is what she is questioning. Sex is a powerful activity to women. It stands as a flag with them on all levels whether it's emotionally, mentally, or physically. Within sex involves intimacy and trust. Women are taught that. So when she is robbed of that through a violent ordeal, her brain waves are triggered into something else. 1. She hates that this has been done to her, 2. it was by a man, and 3. that may seem why she is always on edge with any man on their intentions with her. That's why she is so quick to shut you down. Also if a woman is sexually promiscuous, I bet you its because she was sexually assuault or raped. Then you may ask, "well why is she a hoe?" She's displaying that behavior because remember sex involves intimacy and trust. Once that is robbed from her the value of it is dead to her. Because it was something forced on her and not earned from her. So now she feels like she has to go out and chase/take it herself before it gets her ever again. 9/10 I promise that is why she is displaying that behaivor. Agree to disagree. But like Joe said, just talk to women. Don't even try to ask for sex. Just talk to her and listen and you will find out some devastating things. Sometimes that's all they need and want. To talk. And reveals things so you could get a better understanding of her. And wow I just rambled so much, you da real MVP if you read all of this. 😆😆
Hell yeah i did i have been saying this before i lost my virginity at 18 shit was mind blowing the things women or girl at the time would get touchy about certain activity's that i didn't know at the time may have triggered flash backs etc. Many females ive l encountered over my years of growth i heard so many stories family members, friends , men woman all saying disturbing acts that made dramatic effects on these peoples lives forever. I had a fiancee that god bless her soul died later in my twenties after we had grown apart. She one day literally zoned out mid intercourse and remembered her fucking father face and started to go crazy and scream and yell and i felt so fucking bad like i had to hold her and tell her its me like 20 times. I didnt know how bad it was till we lived together. She was the first person i lived with female wise ever. First person to hold my kid but had an abortion....i paid we were too young at the time it was her body her temple i was graced to have her in my presence. For years i wanted to personally to find this man and eliminate his existence from compromising another person. (Man or female) ....years later unfortunately her other sister youngest had a child and wanted to share that beautiful gift with her father she had the most communication with him at the time the others would never interact. She apparently went to see him and stood over with the child .....this man attempted to do the same thing to her and i called it out for years that he should be brought up on these actions ....they told me and my heart broke so bad. I didn't want to be right i wanted to save these peoples souls...... As i write this its honestly therapeutic to say this i have no reason to say lies. Im here to inform. I remember my x girl that died the one im talking about say when she told her mom .....the mom said it Never happened and also said she probably deserved it 💔 fucking crushed my soul ....no words i wasnt liked because i was from the bronx amd she was a queens girl ..star crossed lovers ...she made me the man i am today combined with being raised by a woman with no dad at home. Saying that is obvious i am a 80s baby and i am 39 years old. I have a daughter and she has molded me into the best man i can be...i am the blessed one to be her father. Hence the things that are done to these children go beyond just kelly. the demonic thoughts, practices, actions of the adults or powers that be meaning people of power that use trust as a medium of control to lure, manipulate and destroy human lives forever should not be allowed to walk this earth point blank period idc how i sound. This sickness isnt something new hollyweird , icons , idols, role models, music industry, sports, television has all been compromised by people using this to compromise our relationships, marriages, children , friendships etc. Whew sorry i truly am for writing all this but i cant just explain in short explanation. The way this world works the vails have been lifted along time ago for my eyes seriously. Theres beauty here its in our children and family values we are all rich from that money cant replace these things ever. #nevercompromise be safe peace and be well
I also agree 💯 with all u said and i have always talked to females with the upmost respect for what the have to share not just physically but mentally for that i may have appeared a certain way and maybe had gotten brunt but the end result is the man i am today.

Austin Rosetta my wife was one of the many unfortunate woman to have experienced that kind of trauma.. and I personally went through hell with her. She was so damaged and self-destructive. She was ecerything my mom raised me to avoid in a woman. But as naive and judgmental as i was to her, I stuck through it. And I learned and understood through these trials that she is just so hurt. Everything you described is what she was going through. Luckily, I caught onto it in time to act accordingly, and I gave her that trust and comfort back in sex and in love, and helped her realize that all that trauma and pain is behind her. She’s safe with me, now she can focus her energy on rehabilitating her mind and healing emotionally

@@Yooooo91 How? Out of most hip hop outlets that discussed the topic they went the hardest, the most in depth and where open and honest in their opinions. Charlamagne for example skipped out on the whole radio show this morning to not discuss this cause hes facing backlash.
That's because no one cares about it. A lot of these stories are over exaggerated, in order to sell the story. A lot of those women didn't go through super dramatic shit...all they did is increase the dramatics and lower the age in order to sell the story.
a lot of those girls were probably 18 years old or just turning 18 when they got involved with Kelly and realize that technically they will be of age so they lowered their age for dramatic effect.
They were of age and they were willing to be a part of this man sexual activities. until it stopped and he got bored of them and the money stopped coming. I kind get where they coming from, because coming up in a lifestyle like that, and then it abruptly ends, can leave you disoriented and lost, because you don't know where to go from there. You don't know how to go back to normal. So I can see why a lot of them are frustrated because they're damaged.
