According to CBSE MARKING SCHEME, they have solved the question by taking 90 instead of 60 that makes the answer different from the one you get from by using 60 instead of 90. If u use 90, answer is 69.23 cm2 and if you use 60, answer is 17.9 cm2

it is literally the same , it is multiplied by 7 so that we get 210 degree ,same method and same formula

i did this way
not mentioning theta everywhere
given sin+cos=1
square both sides
sin^2+cos^2+2sincos=1
write one on rhs as sin^+cos^2 which is 1
and send 2sincos from lhs to rhs
so sin^+cos^2=sin^2+cos^2-2sincos
rhs can be written as (a-b)^2
sin^2+cos^2=(sin-cos)^2
1=(sin-cos)^2
sin-cos=+-1
