So impressive as are many of the Japanese Coastal Ferries. A recent vlog on RUclips by another Japanese channel showed their experience on the “Spirit of Tasmania” here in Australia. That shipping company could learn so much from Japan as to how to design ships and facilities that are great value, have excellent accommodation choices and decently priced food options…well done Japan!
I would like to eventually be on a ferry outside of Japan. I will look for the Spirit of Tasmania and watch the video. Thanks for the important information for me!😃
Thanks for you reply. The review given for “The Spirit of Tasmania” ferry unfortunately though respectful showed one of three Deluxe Rooms only on the whole ship. The remainder of rooms on this ship are small, with many not having windows and feeling very claustrophobic. They have no TV’s, tea or coffee making facilities in room and a bottle of water is $7. Food although ok is limited in choice and expensive.

I keep discovering your excellent videos, thank you. Personally I prefer the ferry between Hokkaido and Nagoya, because when I was there in November, the bath was open the whole night, and it was a pure blessing with my jetlag!
The previous generation of Sunflower ships currently serving as ferries in Indonesia are Dharma Ferry 7 (Sunflower Satsuma) & Dharma Kencana 7 (Sunflower Kirishima). I hope you can try it in Indonesia, because all the facilities are still the same.
That song was not played as much on this most recent Sunflower ferry as on other Sunflowers. That was a bit disappointing, but also a refreshing experience.🙂

18:30 "Powder rooms" gave me a belly laugh. As far as I know, a 'powder room' would be found on board a warship; it was an isolated room where gunpowder (or other explosives or propellants) would be stored and/or prepared for use in the ship's guns. But I know what you mean :-)
For some reason the subtitles are absolutely tiny and unreadable which is a shame as I have no idea what info I'm missing but even with my glasses on I cannot read them. I'm not sure if there's any way you could mAke them slightly bigger. It would make the video more enjoyable for English speakers ❤

I enjoy your videos, but can I offer some suggestions? Watching these kinds of quiet travel videos is a great way to relax, but you make everything go by so fast. You don't spend much time showing us something, before you're onto the next shot of something else. If you would slow down a little, it would give people a little more time to enjoy each thing you show us. A lot of it feels very rushed. Keep up the good work!

일본 국내의 페리 티켓은 인터넷으로 예약할 수 있지만, 대부분의 사이트가 일본어만 지원하며, 영어는 조금만 지원한다. 하지만 일본의 페리는 연말연시와 초여름, 그리고 8월 중순을 제외하고는 만석이 되지 않는다. 외국인이 일본 페리를 타려면 여행사를 통하거나 직접 페리 회사 창구에 가는 것이 확실하다.🙂

フェリーもアーリーチェックイン、レイトチェックアウトができれば私も高級な部屋を利用したいのですが…
フェリーの場合は港湾使用料や船員労働時間、清掃時間が足りなくなるので厳しいですかね。
いつも動画を見ていただき、感謝申し上げます。たまには贅沢したいと思い、この船室で旅してみました。フェリーは乗船と下船の時間が決まっていて、このへんでもう少し融通が利くといいのにと私も思います。ただ、限られた人員で日々運航しているので、やはりそれは厳しいのでしょうね。機会があれば、ぜひフェリー旅を楽しんでくださいね。😄

フェリー旅大好きですが、船酔いするので、日本海側航路にも乗れないし、いつもトイレ付個室の私です。スイートだし、この航路は瀬戸内海なので良さそう！(回避行動のおかげでここ数年は船酔いしてませんが😅)次回の参考にさせていただきます。
日本海航路はけっこう揺れますよね...。瀬戸内海航路は天気さえよければほとんど揺れませんよ。私もあまり船酔いには強くないですが、瀬戸内海ではほとんど酔い止め不要です😸

일본 국내의 페리 티켓은 인터넷으로 예약할 수 있지만, 대부분의 사이트가 일본어만 지원하며, 영어는 조금만 지원한다. 하지만 일본의 페리는 연말연시와 초여름, 그리고 8월 중순을 제외하고는 만석이 되지 않는다. 외국인이 일본 페리를 타려면 여행사를 통하거나 직접 페리 회사 창구에 가는 것이 확실하다.🙂
