lmao! That intro was awesome! You actually sounded a lot like him! And yeah it is crazy but also cool there are 3 Road Warrior Max's coming out! They all seem to have pluses and negatives but damn so cool they exist now. They seem like they would be good enough if they were the only one to be made but its cool like you said we could mix n match parts.

I had the figure for so long, that I honestly had given up on the idea of reviewing it, but I did the same sort of intro (albeit, shorter, with less lines) with the Blade Runner figure I reviewed before this one, so I finally committed to make it. Haha! Oh, and they flagged my video for the intro! Sure, it's probably just because of the faint theme music in the background, but the jokes on them, if Warner Bros. Films ever really listen to it. Hahaha! ^_^

Hi I'm new to your channel ( 1/6 Cave sent me ) and I'm liking it 😁 I'm also a big fan of the road warrior and really wanted a 1/6 Max figure nice to see someone else noticed the missing metal police strip on the jacket! I ordered this and the Present Toys figures! This for the head sculpt and the dog Present Toys for the leather ( and more movie accurate costume ) as I want a really good Max figure, unfortunately this one got lost in the post and I was given a refund ! So I picked up the Mel Gibson Braveheart head sculpt it's a very good likeness and has rooted hair, it just needed a repaint and haircut, I also picked up a 1/6 scale dog to turn into a cattle dog 😁 and as this was the most expensive of the two fingers I ordered it all seems to have worked out well ! Heh, mine was 'lost in the post' too. The company (Toys Wonderland) told me Present Toys didn't make enough to fulfill preorders so I was given a refund. Had to find another from Malaysia... Tsk. Much better sculpt than the Present Toys version, but some of the accessories are better.
Greetings, the figure does not convince me at all to pay what it costs because I don't think it is worth what it costs. It has many negative details which, however, you knew how to show it in a positive way, you presented negative details in an honestly way but you highlighted the positive parts of the figure And I find that very good for a real presenter. I have never seen and heard a presenter like you before in an Unboxing. I had a lot of fun watching the video, I really did, but no, the figure does not convince me. This is, by far, one of the best comments I've gotten in a long time, and it really means a lot! ;) I totally agree with you about the pros and cons of this figure and I've recently received a far better 1/6 version of The Road Warrior: The "Dark Toys Warrior Max" figure. I never got around to reviewing that one, but I absolutely love it. It's far from perfect in every detail, as well, but I highly recommend that one. Man been trying to get this figure but sold out and ebay prices are ridiculous. The headsculpt needs a change and some weathering to clothes and it would be awesome

When I first saw the promo photos, I thought this one was the best of the three to get, accessories and figure-wise, but now I think I was right when I originally thought, "What if you have to mix and match parts from all three?" That's not to say that this is a bad figure and if it were the only Mel Gibson Road Warrior figure that was ever to come out, I'd be happy, but yeah, it could be better in a lot of areas. To anyone thinking of getting this figure, definitely don't pay over the asking price, especially on ebay. That way you won't be disappointed, if you get it. Dang the clothes are a kind of a bummer! I was just thinking about a pleather jacket I had before. It mostly sat on display and it started flaking away. Hopefully your max doesn't
The clothes are definitely thinner than I thought they'd be, that's for sure, Dr. Rock, but hopefully they'll hold up over time. I've been lucky in the past, and none of the pleather/leather on any of my figures has ever started to peel or flake. I've seen a LOT of horror stories on what can happen though, so I've always got that worry in the back of my mind. Your pleather jacket story reminded me of one I used to have and wear to conventions. I had painted all sorts of characters and stuff all over it (I was constantly adding things to it) and I had different artists and actors sign it over the years. It held up, condition-wise, for years, until one day, I saw it in the closet and it had completely fallen apart. It's like it was in perfect condition one day and literally melted the next. To quote Roy Batty, "All those memories, lost in time, like tears in rain..." Haha! ^_^
Great intro, good impersonation. Got this and am thinking of getting the dark toys one aswell. The original head is a bit bigger so maybe dark toys will shrink it a bit to make a perfect max. Very impressed with the psycho and blade runner figure from them, so think theyre max is one to get. This one is very good also but the head is small like peanut.

@@Fu-Reviews Think if youre getting all 3 you will be able to make a thunderdome max from all the leftovers. Think you could get at least 2 good figures from the 3 sets and sell the left over parts. Still alot cheaper than the custom figures in the long run.
The other head sculpts are terrible. I’m very pleased with this one, if anything the dog is too small but I’d use a different dog anyway. I CAN’T WAIT for the immortan Joe they’re about to release!

Sure, the figure has a lot of the details wrong, but none of them really bother me. I can't unsee the size of the dog. Haha! ;) That Immortan Joe looks beyond awesome and spot-on! I love his battle damaged mouth from the end of the movie, too! Be sure to let me know what you think of him in hand, if you get one! ^_^

Great figure. Honestly I know how the people are on all the boards so I pretty much stopped looking at them. As to the head sculpt it’s better then most for sure but really no one has ever nailed Mel sculpt. He has one of those faces that is instantly recognizable but hard to pin down in plastic form. Amen, toño Covarrubias! ;) Where are the vehicles, indeed! As far as I know, no company has announced any 1/6 scale Road Warrior vehicles at all. The last 1/6 car I wanted, and was actually announced, was Frankenstein's "Monster" from the Death Race remake, but it was never released. It looked spot-on and awesome, so the fact that it never came out broke my heart. I can only imagine how I'd feel if Max's Interceptor was announced and never came out, too. I still haven't gotten over the N2 Interceptor getting cancelled all those years ago. :(
