I just purchased my Garmin Solar Instinct. I have been trying to customize my watch face and have followed your instructions several times. Each time I do this to what I want my watch face to look like, then I see the check mark, it then automatically goes back to the original face only showing the Date in the top right circle, battery level, and days of battery life, and digital time: 10:46 with black face and white. I like to have a white face and black. I didn't have this issue with my previous Garmin Instinct. By the way, I am a real fan of the Garmin Watch, and thank you so much for the detailed tutorial.
Hi Manu. There must be something you do at the end. It seams that you cancel the edit. Maybe you could also try to reboot it. It's an electronic device after all. 😉
Question? If after everything you just did, you want to change to a different face. Will it always remember that customized face so that you won't have to customize it again in the future if you ever decide to return to a previously customized face?
Thank you for this video. I have the simple version of Garmin Instinct and at the battery indicator it doesn't appear to me in percentages or in the remaining days. It's just the battery rating.
An issue can be that your phone is paired with to many bluetooth device. Even if they are not connected, that can affect the connection. Try de delete old device you don't use anymore.
Just bought it,,, very disappointed with its interface... complicated and have far useless information...a lot of garget info ...but useless and unnecessary...I go back to my old forerunner after sepending over $500 on this... Useless
Because an info is useless for you doesn't mean it is useless for other. The beauty of that watch is that you can filter everything. It's pretty close to the forerunner interface, it's just displayed differently. Howerver at 500$ yes I think it is expensive. I recomend the base model witch is almost the same thing, but without the solar option. It's 300 CAD but is usualy on discount. Last week I saw it at 119 CAD. At that price it's a joke how inexpensive it is. And this watch does a lot of things.

From what I have experience yes it will remember. But I never test it on long term.

You mean both at the same time? By default it's next event. But on the instinct 2 I think there is an option to get both but I'm not sure.
Does the watch ever go into sleep mode? Also, can you turn any features off to help with the battery? Like the heart rate

is there a way to show temp and participation chance on the watchface?
You can only have temperature on watchface. But you can quickly access precipitation in the app with up or down button from the watchface.
I know this is a 2 yr video, but i just bought a Garmin Instinct and I was wondering if there was a way to in large the numbers on the watch time?
I never saw that kind of feature on the instinct. Only on the Venu 3.

I can't say. I never download anything from the garmin IQ store. Everything you see is built in in my watch. 😉

Yes. The ver first generation, like the one in that video is built this way.
