My favorite tool is and always has been the Dremel Rotory Tool. It even works to file my toenails.
Finally we know what the axe is for. :D
Thanks Nic and Josh..Pedro's make the best tire levers too ! Be well to you both .
They are legendary. Loads of companies have copied them, but the Pedros ones are the OG’s
@@nicvieri2627 thank Nic. I appreciate you honesty
I stopped working in bike shops 15 years ago and I still keep finding those AWS tools in boxes or drawers and things. So ubiquitous!
The rear mech alignment tool and the bb bearing press are ~£200 each 😮
That’s why you use a LBS 😉
Some tools are mega expensive, but it’s worth it for how much we use them.
@@nicvieri2627 how many times would the average cyclist use a bearing press. If I needed one, my LBS has (a considerably cheaper) one.
The alignment tool would be nice, but not essential.
Yeah, you wouldn’t use it that often, unless you do all your own servicing. If you did get one I’d go for the new Enduro BRT-060 Linear press. You. An do wheels, bb’s and pivot bearings with them.
Both the hanger alignment gauge and BB press are overkill for home mechanics. A Park Tool DAG-2.2 and a BSC Tools BB press is enough. They're still kind of expensive, but they're more attainable.
@@nicvieri2627your first reply was justifying the cost because of all the times you used them.
Your second reply you said that you wouldn’t use them very often 🫤
So which is it; you’d use these expensive tools a lot, or not very often?
That bearing tool you suggested is ~$300 🙈
How many bikes do you think you own and service on a regular basis?
Maybe we should do another video showing how some of them actually work 🤷🏻♂️
I’ll watch pretty much anything Josh makes. From his first , until now , he has become an artistic storyteller , with video ! Thanks for sharing
Thanks for watching. I’m hopefully getting better the more I make.
I was about to say "Jimmi Media shows Nic using the BB tool", but then I saw the user name 😂
Except for the axe! 😱(Canyon owner here)...

"Heeeere's Nicky!"
Ok, that thumbnail is awesome with that title!
Great video thank you 👍 I love the tool for setting handle height 😎 not sure if I wish to see how much they cost especially if only doing a job every so often 💰
I'm surprised, there's no Knipex Pliers Wrench on that wall. At work in the shop or at home this is one of the most versatile tools! I strongly recommend to get one of those like the 86 01 180...
You can't beat Knipex. Also, I have a rear block removal tool made by Abbey. Absolutely beautifully made bit of kit. There is no substitute for quality.
I dunno. Arguably, their Network Analyzers aren't great.😋
Remind me to never take my Canyon into the store LOL. I can only imagine what you think of my Lynskey...what about Trek and Rocky Mountain? Pedros +1
Abbey Bike Works is in my town. He's a really good dude.
lol. nice timestamps
Can you use the Pedro’s torque wrench to loosen fixings as well.? Thanks.
Yea you can loosen with them as well.
Nick why didn't you drag Josh to Cade and interview him. Fair play and such...
that abbeytools alignment gauge is literally fucking orgasmic.
This is a shop to be avoided. If you don't buy your bike through them, they don't give a shit about you. I mean, he's smiling when he makes his clever Canyon joke, but I'm sure he's not kidding.
Why not donate your old tools you're not using anymore to a local cycling club or school?
Why do you paint your workshop black? You'll find that a lighter colour will reflect light better, and lead to a general lift in mood, and better ambient conditions, so you can see finer stuff better (or older people don't have to squint at small print) rather than oppressive shadowy dark.
The tool wall is black. The whole one side with a double heigt roof is a window (Aprox 10m wide by 7m high)
Shops like this don't care about the cycling community, they just want your money... "if you don't buy your bike from me I'll fix it with an axe"
Here we go... another bike shop triggered by Canyon. That's really shitty.
Why he hates Canyons? 🤔
Folding hex key sets in a pro shop like that? Stuffed in a travel bag OK, but I'd be worried handing my bike over to someone wielding a folding hex key rather than a proper L shape, t-handle, etc. no matter what the brand name on it was!
you're so dense, wall behind him literally hangs full of em
Handlebar alignement= spirit level. I think this is a sponsor who does not admit to being sponsored! A bit like CADE media! Fake
Good luck doing that in a bike stand when your bike isn’t level.
