The cost is $10,000, so insurance doesn't want to cover it. What do you do? And there are hundreds upon hundreds of these stories. So, sympathy for the deceased is hard. Empathy for the guy they pinned it on is easy.

the government uses a mathematical formula to calculate how much each human life is worth called discount fractioning. it is how they determine whether or not to employ policies that would benefit the human race, but time and time again, this formula told them that the money spent today to better us, is NOT worth the investment and that the future will be able to handle the issues. it's a very interesting and evil topic to look into. "Second thought" account has a great video explaining how the government actually calculates the value of us.

@rhinoman86 It's some truth mixed with bias, the reason the justice system was easily able to catch this guy was because the guy actively let himself be found, with news media everywhere showing the guy. A part of the truth is the fact that the CEO wasn't some random guy, whether these virtual signalling people like to admit it or not, they'll just see news of a murder think "that's horrible" and forget about within the next hour or just became numb to the news to the point of not caring, thus having less of an impact to the public compared to a vigilante, naturally they'll be putting more effort to solving the crime that made nation-wide headlines than a random gang shooting down your street

You can say whatever you want about 3rd world countries. You can talk all day about Africa's, China's and South America's problems, but what you can't talk about is their Healthcare system. People in those countries live much longer than us Americans in the 1st World. Their Governments provide Universal healthcare for each citizen at ZERO COST to them out of pocket. We call ourselves the "richest nation on earth" yet, most of our citizens are overtaxed, unhealthy, overstressed and living from pay check to pay check. Sadly, who do you blame? Do you blame the person that needs Medical help? The person with cavities that can't afford Insurance but wants to fix their teeth. Or do you blame the Medical Industry? We live in a society that blames the victim for being a victim.

Really? Then who pays for it then? You?
You don't have the right to other people's knowledge and materials.
HealthCare isn't a human right.. just like food isn't a human right. You can't force people to provide skill and materials just because someone is sick. It's sad, and that's why there are charity organizations that help with such things, but to expect society to pay for anything and everything is insane.
Even with healthcare it doesn't mean anyone would get better anyway and I'm supposed to pay for that? No thanks..
People die, it happens its sad, but that doesn't mean that I deserve someone elses skills and materials because I might die.
Sad but True.. nobody owes you anything but to be left alone.

My son's doctor wanted to charge $300 for removing bone splinters that would be caused by removing a 3rd molar. Because the extraction was covered but smoothing down the bone before suturing back up wasn't

I love how the authorities protecting the corrupt oligarchs are trying to dictate to the people that this guy is not a hero. Dude, you don’t get to decide that. The people say he’s a hero, then he’s a hero. The very fact that you are trying to dictate that he is not just goes to show that he is.

How many people and policemen do you need for extraditing an unarmed handcuffed boy? Why are you wasting my tax money?

I was denied an MRI by Cigna Heath for my Orthopedic doctor to see the damage from a break in my ankle So now I barely can walk around without extreme pain I have a lot of sympathy for the young guy who has sacrificed his future to bring this corruption and greed to light!
