I don’t believe there is a requirement for the amount of years. From what I understand, Faire prefers for you have to have wholesale accounts (not sure of the number) /experience working on wholesale, 50% wholesale margins, catalog or a line sheet. They basically want you to know how to handle wholesale orders. So I definitely think a Etsy shop works as long as you understand the margins that come with wholesale. Have you applied to Faire yet?

I believe I had to submit an EIN. Very easy to acquire from the government. It’s for their tax purposes, of course! That’s a great question about the website. I had one so it never came up. But it makes sense that some would not have a site if they are coming from Etsy! I think their biggest concern is what you can add to the platform. Is your product unique? Do you have a following of people who want to purchase? Are you bringing them business? Etc. I can give you a referral link if you want. Some have had better luck getting in with the referral link. Supposedly there is a kick back, but I have never received one. So I honestly do not know for sure. I’m so happy you are going wholesale! Now is definitely the time! Cheering you on! ❤️🥰❤️
