- Esther chapter 6 holds the most ironic twist of them all...the night before the second banquet with Esther, King Ahasuerus couldn't sleep so he asked to have the book of remembrance read to him. He was reminded of when Mordecai foiled a plot to have the king killed 5 years back, and asked what was done to honor Mordecai. The answer? Nothing. Just then, Haman walks in to present to the king his plan to have Mordecai killed. The king sees him, not knowing his intent, and asks what should be done to the man whom the king delights to honor. Haman assumes he must be the man the king wants to honor, so he tells the king to parade this person around the city. The king's response? Great, go do all of that...for Mordecai. This is the moment Haman knew the tides were changing, and everything was about to get flipped on its head.

Over halfway through this study! 🤯 what’s something you learned from Esther chapter 6? 💛
I learnt this from the chapter:
If Mordecai was honoured earlier, then the King maybe would have forgotten about all that years later and it would not have prevented Haman from carrying out his plan to hang Mordecai. So it may seem things don't happen as you want them, but GOD's timing is best, as we don't know what His plans in our life will accomplish and maybe He's saving them for the right time.
Like how He used Joseph's misfortune to accomplish something big in Egypt to basically save His family, people and the Egyptians...
This chapter... pride comes before a fall
I am in my twenties and I feel a lot of my generation myself included can find ourselves behaving like Haman on social media and needing that applause and those likes and validation from others around us! Really enjoying listening to your study of Esther today! Thank you 😊❤
That is truth.
I prayed before this chapter for God to allow me to see anything he needs me to see here. Sure enough; prayers answered. Dealing with betrayal recently I’ve been praying for answers. This chapter taught me to be like Mordecai..still, faithful, but also strong and standing up for what was right, and even if it seems the enemy is getting their way, God sometimes allows people to set their own trap leading to their own humiliation, even tho Mordecia never even looked to avenge Haman. Gods got that covered and He is just. ❤️
I think this chapter has been my favorite so far . It’s amazing that we can read a book for the fourth or fifth time and gain so much new revelation each time. Proof that the Word is timeless and living and active.

I’m a truck driver and audio books have been a life saver from boredom ! I decided to search Bible study and your page popped up. Now it is very hard for me to get into a book if the narrator voice doesn’t capture my attention ( horrible I know !) since Monday I have been listening to a chapter a Day of this and you have captivated me from the beginning!! I have never really read the Bible so this really interested me big time! So I just wanted to say thank you and keep doing what you’re doing!

I'm so glad I stumbled upon this. My ladies bible study group is studying this and using your videos in 2024. Thank you. As far as seeing Haman in my own heart, where to start. So many times jealousy and envy arise and usually it is when something happens for someone who has wronged me in some way. I know we all feel this way. I know Haman is asking why him and not me?? It is such a jolt because I feel when that happens God is refining us to trust that what we want sometimes isn't always what He wants for us. It is a reminder to me to look at my motives. Are my motives toward God or toward self?? This is such a jolting reminder of how quickly we can stray in this sinful world. Thank you so much for this amazing study!!
This was a good chapter. I think that sometimes when we are prideful and plan for others destruction, the Lord will use that to humble us by letting us not succeed in the destructive plans we make.

🌟 7/11/23 Hi Kaci … I love your videos! A couple months ago I joined a small women’s Bible study. The lovely women that runs the weekly study suggested for the summer that we would study the book of Esther. She encouraged each of us to choose a week that we would present the next chapter and so on. My first thought was, “I don’t know if I can do it because I don’t feel confident in my interpretation of the Bible”. But, I decided to be the first to step up and I’m so happy I did!! Your video helped me see the scriptures in a way I never thought possible. I definitely was nervous but I also learned so much doing it. When I finished our leader asked if anyone wanted to do another chapter because some of the women either didn’t feel comfortable or were on vacation. I offered to present another chapter ❤
I’ve learned that nothing is a coincidence with God & that he is our defender no matter how bad the circumstances 🌟⭐️

This chapter makes me laugh a little bit. We listen to this story and reflect on the kind of person Haman is. But we are all him. I personally think that we all crave at least a little bit of that public validation in our lives, whether it be posting our successes on Instagram or buying things to show off money. This chapter made me think about Haman in me, and it is helping me realize that the only person I should be craving validation from is God himself. I want to not sin and to make him proud, so he can be the one to validate me.

Our church ladies group is studying Esther right now. We are doing 2 chapters a week for 5 weeks. Tonight is our 3rd meeting. I have heard Esther's story since I was a child and have read it more than once. But, I am learning so much from this study right now. Your videos have enhanced my study. Thank you!
One thing I've learned from this passage about Haman is that saying, "God will make your enemy your foot stool." He tried to destroy Mordecai, but God blessed him and made Haman apart of it. Watch who you try to curse because God WILL turn it around and block it for that person you try to curse.

This Chapter also speaks on waiting for a confirmation from God, and not man, and also not being hasty with conclusions.
The timeline is after the three days of fasting and praying, and one could have assumed that the abrupt honour (assumingly from Mordecai's POV) was an answer.
His return to the gate however, shows that he is still waiting. It is business as usual instead of a celebration of his honour.
Let's continue or start to call on the Holy Spirit for a divine understanding of our different situations.

When I first heard this, I thought Haman was trying to get Mordecai to be the official to honor him, but then he would be calling him or recognizing him as the "most noble official."

Mordecai's family/friends should've given him the advice that is given to him now before. Maybe he could've softened his heart and changed his mind, but unfortunately, it's too late. He's on his way to the feast.

I think the king being disturbed is one of the results of the fast. God caused the king to be restless and reward Mordecai. In the past, he hadn't done it
