Indeed the best team won the Euro 24. Spain won all the group stage game defeating the likes of Italy and Croatia. Then they played the best game against Georgia, defeated huge favourite Germany and France and finally England. In total they won 7 of 7 games, scored 15 goals while conceding only 4 goals. Thank you Spain for saving the football again.

I don't understand the critics that say the wrong team won. Like in the women's tournament (when Spain won) the woke crowd got the last word concerning women's treatment. I thought this was football and not some sensivity seminar..And should we ban countries that play the game all too well? For myself I'm glad that Spain has finally found its groove. And the best team is likely to win.(expect in Spain 1982 when Brazil should have won).

I will say it's another poor performance from Kane in a big game, very rarely does he play well in the biggest occasions, 3 finals for Spurs, world cup semi, 2 euro finals he never left his mark on any of those big games.
