Welcome back to another amazing day from Kodiak. We found a shooter buck and a big ass brown bear on this episode plus some killer waterfowl action! Hope you enjoy EP56...
What's the average temperature you guys are seeing there? You guys look cold. Temps fluctuate much? I assume its windy all the time also? That makes it feel way colder! Fantastic hunting. One of my dream hunts. Those are beautiful deer!
Awesome hunt. Enjoyed the duck hunting. I’m with Brian on the on where to set up. Excited for tomorrow. Thanks for taking us along. Take care, see ya :)
Without at doubt spot number 1 I take elevation over anything else 9 times out of 10. Another awesome video guys! I'm totally wanting to do that hunt!👍
This is about THE COOLEST HUNT I could ever imagine. Base camp is a fully equipped yacht in the waters off an island in Alaska. STUNNING VIDEO. AMAZING COUNTRY. JUST SUCH NATURAL BEAUTY. THIS IS THE BOUNTY FROM THE CREATOR THAT FEW PEOPLE EVER SEE. Duck hunting is TOO FRIGGIN COOL
Definitely agree that option 1 was the right call!!! Nice footage of the bear! Garett needs to work on his duck hunting skills😜. Looking forward to tomorrow’s video!
Love Logan, he needs to be in front of that camera more but Brian is right about scenario 1. Elk hunting if we played this game we would all end up high just cause it’s easier to see country.
Its interesting seeing someone so happily target divers near the ocean. In Klamath, we get so many buffleheads and goldeneye, most consider them "shit ducks" and target dabbling or puddle ducks almost exclusively if given the option. Divers are definitely faster and make it sportier though!
Gotta agree with BMack. Loved the duck footage! That bear was no joke and I agree. If you ever shot anything over there, that bear would certainly have an opportunity to claim anything before you got anywhere close to it? Was a bear tag an option for this trip?
Location 1. And the air horn is a better option than you guys are giving it credit for. Has a better distance than spray does and as ive used them more than once, they work. At least on black bears. Have had to use it twice with mother black bears trailing cubs. Both times during bow season and both moms perked right up and turn and went for the nearest bush. 1st time was ~55yrds and 2nd was ~110 yrds i was shaking a bit with the range finder. A lot cheaper to replace too. I still carry bear spray i just use the air horn as the initial warning.
Two shooters... split them up. One high, one low, then BMac can watch the remaining area so the shooters can specifically look for the buck to pop up. I do agree with your decision to pack up. That bear would have been all over a kill. Smart move there.

Would love to see a video about the gear y’all used on this hunt and the layering system y’all went with!
I agree with you B Mac, the top gives a lot more options for finding and shooting a good buck.
Top, #1 with Brian.
Bmack, definitely scenario #1.
Awesome hunt. Enjoyed the duck hunting. I’m with Brian on the on where to set up. Excited for tomorrow. Thanks for taking us along. Take care, see ya :)
No brainer, higher elevation almost Always is better ,and a bigger view of surroundings ridges. Experience always wins over youth.
Nice fricken stud buck! I hope Logan gets a chance at him, man what a stud! Bmacks stud buck from yesterday is just as awesome though!
Definitely scenario #1!!!
Great to see logon being more active in front of the camera and getting to hunt himself.
I’m with Brian on this one!!
definitely scenario one!
1 for sure! 😆silly string and party poppers should work just fine.
I'm not jealous but some guys have all the luck. It makes me happy to see both of you happy!
“Sacrifice your body, not the rifle” says the guy Hunting on KODIAK island 😂👍🏼
Spot 1 for the win
#2. For sure. Love Kodiak. It's different every time we hunt it!!!!
Without at doubt spot number 1 I take elevation over anything else 9 times out of 10. Another awesome video guys! I'm totally wanting to do that hunt!👍
I’ll go with Bmack’s view hands down loving this Alaska series 🤙🏾
This is about
THE COOLEST HUNT
I could ever imagine. Base camp is a fully equipped yacht in the waters off an island in Alaska. STUNNING VIDEO.
AMAZING COUNTRY. JUST
SUCH NATURAL BEAUTY. THIS IS THE BOUNTY FROM THE CREATOR THAT FEW PEOPLE EVER SEE.
Duck hunting is TOO FRIGGIN COOL
You got to do 2 weeks next year! Possibly with the land of the free crew. It will make a great viewing adventure. Love it.
Love'n this series guys! Looks like a solid way to get to hunt in Alaska. Can't wait to see what's next.
I’d definitely be up higher to cover all areas!
Brian's spot is money!
Definitely agree that option 1 was the right call!!! Nice footage of the bear! Garett needs to work on his duck hunting skills😜. Looking forward to tomorrow’s video!
I would definitely go with scenario 1. The higher elevation gives you more shooting lanes and more chances to glass other areas. 👍🏻
Up top for sure man this is great love how good action these videos have been
See you tomorrow 💘 the video thank for putting it out there on the line for us to enjoy
Another great video good luck on your hunt
Definitely scenario one
Love Logan, he needs to be in front of that camera more but Brian is right about scenario 1. Elk hunting if we played this game we would all end up high just cause it’s easier to see country.
I agree with B MAC!
Definitely up higher, you can see everything you've got below plus another drainage.
Definitely 1

Top spot buddy listen to the master😜
I would go high, glass, and get on the calls, and grunt tube. 👍👍
Scenario 1 👍🏼
Gotta agree with BMack. Loved the duck footage! That bear was no joke and I agree. If you ever shot anything over there, that bear would certainly have an opportunity to claim anything before you got anywhere close to it? Was a bear tag an option for this trip?
I’m goin with Brian. I’d sit in spot #1.
Scenario 1 for sure
High ground is always my go to .
#1 all day
I love y'all thank you so much for all the videos!
Logan didn't want to slip and bust his arse without his baseball ⚾️ cleats 🤣
#1 for sure
Definitely senareo #1. To bad it didn't work out though.
No question,scenario 1 100%!!
Elevation always wins!!! Get up the hill so you can see the bears, and Bucks!!
Definitely up top is a way better chance of getting a shot and possibly seeing another buck in the other direction.
Definitely go higher..!!!
1 is definitely the better spot. You can see more and one my come from a different spot.
Scenario one definitely!
Up top the best spot to shoot from
Brian’s spot for sure!
I can’t believe I’m agreeing with Bmac but scenario 1 is the way to go.
love the vids keep up the good work.
1st one by far the best choice

The top for sure. Weatherby will reach out on like to touch that buck.
up Top with Brian!
I like scenario #1👍
Up top all day more area to hunt
I like the lower spot. I like being concealed a little more. Doe bait
Brian is right up top 🤣🤣
SWEET, many a fight has been won buy being higher up!
JO JO IN VT 💕😄☃
1st and higher location. You are correct! Split up and cover it all.
The top
AIRHORN??
BEAR DETERENT??WHAT??
BEST CHANNEL
ON DA TUBE!!!
Good stuff guys
Great video 😀😀😀😀😀😀👍👍👍👍👍👍
Great video!
The top gives you more opportunities

I would have probably taken the high ground. Usually, the high ground is the best.
Hey Brian (Bmac)........I am on the other side of the country from you but I really need a pair of those blue gloves..........where do I find them ??
How is the leather on your Crispí boots holding up to the saltwater?
Up top! Brain's vantage point definitely better.
Scenario #1
Area one for sure
Brian's pick
up top
I would set up on top scenario 1
Scenario one for sure
Top
Scenario 1 without a doubt. It's not even a question. If you have 2 guns split up but be closely visible due to bears.
Option 1
Take the top don't be idiots, hunting is getting the best advantage you can get , THE TOP IS IT
Higher elevation is definitely the better spot!!!
Brian kind of acting like spoiled kid wanting his own way, “we are all on the same team!”
Mountaintop!
Scenario One. No doubt
Brian's spot much better.
option 1 all day long !!!
Definitely #1 . Snipers always want high ground so should hunters.
Would the bear have been spotted from the lower elevation? I think Brian saved the crew by moving them up.
These bears are wild here lmao. Duhhh
Sorry gents. You should have listened to Brian and moved up the hill. Looked to be a better spot to me. Keep the footage coming.
#1
Air horns are legit
scenario 1
Higher with back cover. Better shot angle preferred.
