I think it's interesting to compare Harden to the only other guy to win both MVP and 6th Man of the year: Bill Walton. Walton peaked early then his career got derailed by injuries. But he acknowleged that he was no longer an elite player, worked hard to give his teams what they needed out of a semi-washed player, and ended up winning 6th man on a Celtics Team that also won the championship. Harden could learn a lot from Walton; might even help him extend his career.

I really dislike or don't like JH at all, but since we are on the subject, it isn't accurate when you quote by saying - "I am 'THE' system". I believe JH's exact words are "I am 'A' system". In context this makes a huge difference. With the literal quote, JH/he is implying that his creativity on the court can be an alternative to the system if the situation fits(say for broken plays as an example), and that maybe the coach should work with him when it comes to the offense. With you're quote; you are implying that JH suggested that the clippers offense should solely revolve around him. As I said, I am not an JH fan since he is the main reason why the Nets big 3 was broken, but I would rather be accurate than injecting narratives.
He got lucky once early in his career going to a team that had no star (Jeremy lin) then adding Dantoni. He thinks he can keep jumping over and taking over teams that already have established identities. He's going to continue tarnishing his, Westbrook, pg, and to an extent Kawhis legacies.
