    Love the honesty and transparency. I've been training for 37 years and its difficult to impossible to get stronger on everything especially when you've been training that long. If you can get more than 50% of your exercises going up even if its just by 2% then your doing great. I'm 51 years old and started arm wrestling 4 years ago. Its given me a reason to train hard. Next up for me is the Wisconsin state tournament. Good luck, beat Irakli for us older guys 💪.. Oh and blue marker.

    I've been following your method of training since the end of 2023, Blue Marker, I made some personal adaptation but mainly I've been applying your style side pressure combined with all my vectors and won Portuguese championship last year in the weight class under 90kg and overall category, with the left hand and I weight only 80kg...love your videos, watch every single one on repeat for a week, while waiting for the next one to come along, they are so loaded with details that it's hard to grasp all of it with only one view 😂💙

    Whoa! I'm super early!! Todd you are a beast and I'm starting to train like you for armwrestling. Your bench press for tendon exercise in an earlier video has helped my tendons a ton. Thank you for that advice.

    🔵It's a great feeling to know that there are people in this mad world of armwrestling who actually understand the concept of leverage and who do bother to make it as difficult as they can for themselves to actually get better at something instead of cheesing the weights to have bigger numbers than the other guy. You've been, are and always will be my favourite personality inside and outside the world of armwrestling. If not because of how down to earth and relatable you are as a person, then because of how mad persistent and powerful you are on the table and finally you're starting to get some recognition for some of those traits.       Yes there are people who do that. It's called majority of normal people. Only for arm wrestlers it seems that most doesn't understand anything about biomechanics or leverages. Even one top arm wrestler in our country said that only through arm wrestling he met the dumbest people

      Todd always keeps his elbows floating on the pad. Planting the elbow for defensive moves.

      the only downside is that your muscle memory is more prone to faults on the match day. But with time shouldn't matter if guess. I would do a very light weight muscle memory exercise at the end of each training to overcome that.

      Era is not stronger :) . Brzenk @nearly 60 deafeated oleg petrenko who was considered champ in 105. Imagine these dudes in there prime . Ron bath , travis bagent , john brzenk and all the other veterans :) .

    I've been steadily progressing with my hammer curl strength and my pronation strength. Unfortunately I have been plateaued on wrist flexion for quite some time now. But, I stay consistent with it and know that it is a marathon, not a sprint. Thank you and(BLUE MARKER) good luck at EVW 16!

    I love the exercise with wrist wrench, spinated and pronated strap. Would you recommend to train all 3 in one traingssession or split them up over the week?

    Id love if you could address how you go about your deloads and what not, how do you go from 150 to 100-120
    How did you drop to it?
    Was it a %? Was it a gradual deloading? Something else?

      I stopped training side pressure 3-4 times a week and concentrated on back pressure. When you stop training for 2 weeks you’ll around 10%

      @@rollinupeverest5042 which is a comparatively moderate amount. All of the top guys never go overboard with peds. Even Devon. Unlike Levan and Denis that literally destroy their bodies with peds

      I am not qualified to talk about them. Lot’s of folks out there offer solid information. A lot of opinions out there also.
      There is more controversy around performance enhancing drugs than there is about the buckle and the kings move. Until we as a community can be rational about those topics I will avoid the drugs.

      You could try them. I train shoulders occasionally if they start getting sore. I don’t think shoulders need any special work

    I would love to see a response video from Devon. There is no one way to train it seems. What Todd calls a multi spinner is different from what I use. Pound 4 Pound Todd is one of the best on earth. Whatever he’s doing is clearly working

    🔵✏I trained conjugate method diligently when I started my strongman career in 01-05 and it brought huge dividends to my S/B/D. Been washed-up from rock-lifting/semi pulling for 6 years now and started your method in 2022-- kudos to you for bringing calculated progression and programming (that ALL other strength sports use) to the sport- almost nobody is doing that it seems. And the best method out there, to boot. It's taken a year and a half to find which exact ME exercises bring the most power to my pulling style, but I now have very high hopes for 2025. Thanks Uncle T

    Blue marker, Uncle Todd. Fellow mechanical engineer. Why is it that you perform your sidepressure lift starting off the pad and ending off the pad on the other side when in a match your elbow is confined to the pad area? And I get what you're saying about keeping your forearm in a vertical plane to maximize the elbow training stimulus. But in an actual match, wouldn't you need to be able to maintain your sidepressure at varying forearm pitch? Or is it strictly about dragging your opponent's hand laterally from the starting position and then transitioning to a different technique to execute the pin?

      The effort becomes easier as your hand travels down. There is no reason to train the easy stuff.

    Yo Todd,
    when I use alot of Sidepressure on the table I feel alot of pain in my Brachialis. I do the JM Press and I train with the Wristwrench. I am an Armwrestler for almost 2 years now. Is this pain normal? What can I do to fix that? I don't get pain in my Elbows or Shoulders btw. Maybe because I followed your instructions (train Shoulders and do JM Press)... Blue Marker 😁

      Pain in the first few years is normal. Most pain and soreness comes from getting pinned in practice. Training exacerbates it. Practice between 10:00 and 2:00 and keep doing the JM Presses.
