This is really impressive! You connected everything so fluently into something very precious. Every single part of this video is already great for itself but the combination of the images with the music, the editing and the whole composition of this work is outstanding. You are a real artist. Thank you very much.
Awesome job Jeremy! It was particularly fun for me to see the equipment (telescope) tracking and then the comparison between the telephoto and telescope. I know how much effort this takes and I really appreciate you sharing this. Oh and the surprising green ghostly visitor. Outstanding.
Thanks a lot Vic, that means a lot coming from you! My StellarVue SV102T has been with me on practically all my astro adventures, and this was the first time I tried going wide with lenses then 'zooming in' with the telescope on the same targets. Yes, the comet was the last thing I snuck in before compiling everything for the video. Appreciate you watching!
Well done Jeremy, like all your creative projects! I felt like I was tagging along on a trip to the clear skies of the mountains at the start, but without all the travel and tedious setting up and breaking down equipment. What's harder in that regard - gigging with a host of vintage keyboards, or astrophotography trips?
Thanks so much Jay, and that’s exactly the effect I was going for. I’m also secretly trying to recruit people into the hobby 😅, so I more people to go on these crazy adventures with! That’s a very good question, both involve tons of gear and setting up and breaking down. I think astro can be harder just because of the weather and staying up all night, although some of those trips back from NYC with the Bishops were pretty tough! Thanks again for watching ❤
I really don't understand why this is on premier. Not in an asshole sort of way but doesn't having it on premier mean the content is already uploaded? I'm not opposed to have preplanned release of content but the premier feature really clogs up the subscription on web.
Yes the content was already uploaded. I occasionally set up premieres as way to either build some excitement for a collaborative project where the contributors and myself can watch it together online, with an online chat to share our comments. In this specific case, this was a hundreds of hours of effort kind of project where I wanted to make the release of video somewhat of an event for the folks I was with tonight. If you are subscribed and don't like my occasional premieres, please feel free to unsubscribe. But otherwise, I'm not really sure what to say here.
Beautiful and funky! Nice work, Jeremy!!! ✨
Thanks a lot Mari! (gotta be at least a little funky :) )

What a great combination of audio and visual. Love that photo of the Pleiades. Also I’d recognize that PB RFI Cassette patch anywhere :)
Thanks a lot @modeswitching and yes you’re right about the Cassette RFI patch! I just dialed back the release and detuning effects…
