I got MSFS 2020 earlier this year and have been progressing my way up to larger planes. Now that I'm learning airliners, I'm finding your channel to be super helpful and I appreciate you doing this.
Thank you so much for your content! Just a little contribution of personal experience. I live near the GCXO airport, and I fly frequently from it, but I have never seen an ATR use a pushback. It is very common for them to use the power back here!

I really likes your videos and all the detailed explanation, I'm doing my ATPL and it helps a lot for sure. Thank you for the time invested for making better pilots out there, in the real world
Nice video using correct procedure for engine start...hopefully other simmers can learn from this video ..note.. there are two idle positions..FI & GI..latter is generally used for taxi..
What are necessary conditions for gust lock to be released. In this video instructor just "clicks" on it and it pops off. I have clicked on it a hundred times. It illuminates to show it's selected, but doesn't budge. That makes me think that some pre-condition is unmet?? What would that be?
Isn’t there a setting within the gsx control panel that allows you to start an engine before the pushback? I feel like they added the feature after majestic released their dash 8 for P3D all those years ago….and it was carried over to MSFS.
Hi Emanuel i really like your tutorials on these pretty complex aircrafts but when the throttles are in idle mode i lose all the hydralics and many warning messages and fault lights come on. Do you happen to know why this happens. When the throttles are not in idle everything works just fine.
I did everything like in the tutorial, but I have always the Hyd Green Lo and the Hyd Blue Lo warnings... Also after engine start the acw won´t start... Can somebody help?
hello Sir , great info and vid as always , 🙂 but the FMs in this aircraft is totally messed up 😞freeze after freeze not acceptable in my view as its a major part of the aircraft , this really needs urgent attention 😞
Model is completely broken! When i'm trying to start the engine - nothing happened. No warning about start fail or smth like that at all, but engine just don't starting. Once I restart sim and do exactly the same - it works
@@A330Driver Strange, I think, I need to reinstall it. Because on the first flight it was ok, but when I ended turnaround and came back to starting in Hotel Mode, it is just not responding. I’ve tried everything: From reconnecting GPU to trying manual ignition, nothing happened. And the most strange part is no warning on ECAM has appeared. I think it is just a bug, but now to avoid it, I’m just staying in hotel mode for full turnaround
In your video you don't see the standard MSFS pusher and GPU. How did you do that? Normally you can hide them in the aircraft config file, but I can't find this file in the ATR folders.
I wonder why the T/O config ok light lit up while the gust lock was still engaged? Further, all the other planes I've "flown" call for gust lock disengagement already in the before taxi checklist.
Looking into the FCOM it seems the gust lock should be part of the takeoff config test indeed. Be sure to submit a bug report! I disengaged the gust lock at the moment where the FCOM normal procedures asked for it.
@@A330Driver I'll file an issue; though I don't own the ATR (yet, waiting for the Trall first). Btw, what is the situation with gust locks anyway - why do some planes have them as a switch and some planes not? (I guess the B73 and A32 still have them in the form of pins and locks outsite? Maybe this is even worth a video ;)

With the new update of GSX the pushback in hotel mode is possible. At least it worked today.
So good that you've done this series, thank you.
Thank you so mutch for those tutorials so short after release!
Really great to have a professional instrucktion for your first flights :)
great series!
Nose Wheel Steering!!! I was losing my mind why I could not steer . . .
I did follow the tutorial but for some reason Hyd Greel Lo Pr and blue remain at fault as it is the ACW Gens remain off. What am I doing wrong?
You can do powerbacks with the 737 and/or a320. Not recommended but it is possible.
You *can* also fly them 50kt over the red line. Not recommended, but possible.
See the issue?

Great video. Do you use the 2020 cameras? I don't know how to get the movement into the cockpit, zoom, overhead panel and so forth. Thanks

Why is it after I disconnect the ground power unit after en engine is started I get all of these fault lights and messages?

I never had that yet. Did 20 flights with it and never had trouble starting the engines.

tried the powerback earlier today but it did not work for me. the aircraft started moving forward
Same.it started to reverse then moved forward

Thanks for these videos! What scenery addon did you use for Tenerife North?
Thanks! MK Studios.
