Firstly I would like to say I never played the original. With that being said, I have to say you outdid yourself! Amazing design 10/10, soundtrack 9.5/10, detail 10/10, sightreading 7/10, and gameplay 9.5/10! It took me about an hour to beat, mostly due to the pacing. I think it deserves a crazy+ rating of 6.2, but I've never rated a map before and I did it solo. The only thing I would change is perhaps make it a bit easier to see the X on the rng plank as the metal can be hard to see. Also lil sidenote, the rescue was put in a VERY good spot, thank you.
EDIT: Another thing I didn't notice until looking back on it, the O2 mechanic of slowly suffocating from everything smoldering is very atmospheric and just what helps make this map PEAK. I truly hope this gets highlighted and stays so everyone may enjoy it.

The End Could Be Revamped To A Climb Inside The Watch Tower Until You Reach The Station At The Top Which Has A Button You Need To Press In Order To Escape.
