I know it's time/money consuming, but that's why you would need others to share the workload. Popularity might even bring sponsors.
My husband was a treasury of SFWA many years ago, worked on contracts and such. SFWA was already tilting toward the left back in the 90s. But it seems, it has gotten a lot worse.
So, I went to the local big box bookstore and the Sci-Fi shelf has been reduced from 6 shelves to one. The only paleface author in stock is Frank Herbert. The comic books are one section mixed with D&D. They used to have a whole wall. There's manga but it's all yaoi in the adult part. There's even a gay Joker manga. Then all the mangas I've actually heard of are in the young adults section. They destroyed their own ecosystem.
I encountered pretty much the same thing at my local Barnes & Noble, though there are books by several white authors available. For some reason, science fiction and fantasy have been put in separate sections, next to each other, rather than mixed as in the past, and the shelf space has shrunk drastically. I have more science fiction books than they do. But they do have Demon Slayer and My Hero Academia manga.
Encountered that last year at a local B&N. The local bookstore was one of the exceptionally dangerous places for my late wife and myself particularly the scifi and fantasy area but her sudden death took the joy out of it and after 10 years I needed some new books. Walked in and first area to catch my attention was the manga area ( wife and I were otaku as well) and noticed 3 and s half entire aisles devoted to manga. Made a few selections there and headed to the scifi aisle and found not even a full aisle face of scifi but literally one shelf section devoted to franchises like Trek and Star Wars etc and 1 and a half shelf sections devoted to scifi and fantasy and the remaining half American comics. Literally dud a double take, walked around to make sure I'd not missed the rest of the scifi section and went to spend the budget for some scifi novels on some more manga.
No, they destroyed *our* ecosystem. Let's take it back. These people are weak. If we organize we can take it away from them. Together, we are stronger.

I got into reading about 7 or so months ago after reading jurassic park, I moved onto the witcher novels, loved 'em. Then I was at a loss where to go next. I bought an alien book and a horror anthology called 'twice cursed'. And you're 100% right, the anthology, more than half the stories were just feminists living out a power fantasy. Even the alien book was stuffed to the gills with DEI crap. For now I'm sticking with James Herbert, The Rats and The Lair have been amazing, currently reading through The Fog. But got no idea where to get great horror books from here.
