I feel like when this movie was released, it was not appreciated enough. A re-release would be pretty epic actually
It’s so damn good! I do not understand how it wasn’t a massive hit.
Totally agree!
@@Steef_Lee according to critics the acting and the storyline was really bad... but this is one of my favourite musicals!
Yes! My favourite movie of all time!!! Got me into Rock! 👩🏻🎤🧑🏻🎤👨🏼🎤🎸🎹🥁🤘🏻I can not explain what this movie has done to me! 💗🤘🏻
I agree. It’s been one of my favourite films for years
I thought that movie was so damn cool. I tripped out when I first saw that I didn't even believe my eyes and what I was watching. Good directors and writers and creativity put into that
I feel like rock of ages was such an underrated movie, god i loved it as a kid
Tom Cruise embroiled the character. The combo of Alec, Julianne, Diego and Catherine Zeta Jones made this such a great movie
Julianne’s got pipes! I never knew.
Rock music really fits Julianne’s voice! 🔥😍
02:30 wow! Julianne can pull another one just after her first. Amazing breath
Likely recorded.
i think is play back tho that doesn't sound natural
I totally think that Mr Diego Boneta and Julianne hough and Mary j Blige really rocked the world as well as the singing and acting in the entire movie!
I did not know anything about this movie until 2016 when i saw it at a place i was working. I went and bought a down load and when not having a good day or week. I will watch it.
I found it had bad reviews. I guess those people do not like great music, and great production work to bring these classic songs in a new way.
My son watched it with me his first time and loved it. He loves the 80s and he knew all the songs but 2 and was singing with them.
When this came out I could not convince anyone to see it with me. Had to go alone. No computer generated animation fantasy crap, just singing, acting, and dancing. One of my favs.
HOLY SH*T JULIANNE BELTING OVER BLIGE IS AMAZING!
iconictvmoments she really does she’s incredible 🤗❤️
I never knew this happened. I'm happy to have found it now, so thank you for sharing. That was amazing.
I absolutely LOVED this movie. Re-release!!
This was a great movie that was under appreciated.
Best cast, best movie, best everything 😭❤😍
You said it!
OMG, I ALWAYS LOVED DREW EVER SINCE I SAW THE MOVIE, BUT HE LOOKS EVEN BETTER IN THIS VID LIKE DAMNNNNN
THIS IS MY FAVORITE MOVIE omg
Awesome!!.
Loved it
Awesome Love it
awesome!!!!
What a great performance! What a great tribute to one of the most loved eras!
Julianne is so beautiful
Mary J Blige is killing it again.
Отличный фильм рок на века и песни которые поднимают настроение и заряжают энергией.
That NOTE!! Yes ma’am!
No Tom Cruise (aka Stacee Jaxx)? An appearance by Stacee would have been epic.
Who is that shirtless bald guy with the star tattoos? He’s hot! And the choreo was amazing
Wow Julianne looks like a rocker chick!!.
Wow!!
You don’t say
Julianne Hough ♫♪🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰
2:30
SHOUT !
I love how in "Any Way You Want It" they have Mary J. and Julianne take the spotlight and then when the best part comes, Diego is just third wheeling 🤣🤣🤣 (I'M SORRY I HAD TO)
I wish they made a second movie
Lilly Merkel I don’t think so! Sequels aren’t as good as the originals and this movie is pure! Perfection! Especially with that Don’t Stop Believin! Ending! Omg! 😍🤩😱🤘🏻💗 That If they did make a sequel it would probably ruin this one! 😕
@@vidkris1535 actually in terms of music there is a lot of material to add.
There were a lot of great songs missing
Nothing is gonna stop us now
Living on a prayer
Walk this way
Radio Gaga
You give love a bad name
Dream on
There are singers there are good singers and then there is Mary J Blige.
I love Anyway you Want it in the movie but without the heel clap it isn't as good
FUCKING FAB!!!ACE!!
Morgan yon has been like this for a while and it has eueieye a fun way I wanna was the last one I gotta was the last night of the school 🏫 I was just like a man who was just curious and I know that he is a beautiful girl 👧 was the day y
Only thing missing from this was Hey man
Hey man! NO this is Heyman! 🐒
Tom should have come on a Stacee haha
Okay seeing this number live I realized that was so wrong with the movie. They did the musical numbers in a campy and funny way.
They should have taken the musical more seriously and do big stuff like we saw here.
Maybe do like Rob Marshall did with Chicago. The musical numbers in the characters heads, so they could have made the musical numbers with great choreographies and great rock costumes.
The only good musical number in the film was wanted dead or alive. And it’s really a shame they didn’t include come on feel the noise. They just did it as an credits presentation. That song should have been on the movie.
And that movie needed more Bon Jovi.
You give love a Bad name or living on a prayer would have been incredible
Based on the off Broadway show.
I like the movie better than the play!!! It was awesome!
@@bradydougherty6581 TRUTH!
Go see a high school production of Rock of Ages...man the student cast will surprise you.
Unless Tom is here, what’s the point?🤷🏼♀️
Visually appealing but they butchered those songs.
Just bad and embarrassing in every single way if you are a rock or metal fan that this is what we are to these people
lol you do realize metal/rock and any other form of rock started out like this. The movie was in the 80's era, when rock started.
Kyra Knight rock didn’t start in the 80s, it started in the 50s and it developed in the 60s into a range of different styles. It has its roots in the 40s and 50s of rock and roll, which drew heavily on the genre of blues, rhythm and country music.
A lot of people think of late rock when people mention rock, but it isn’t always so. Rock and roll had a very good golden period of 60 years.
@@marusapenic Yeah but the person's comment was directed to the movie rock of ages. The era were hard rock started.
Jay Wilkinson you must be kidding, this movie makes proud real rockers!
