You hit most of the key story lines imho. I would really like it if Morez and Tomislav were able to make each other better by going head to head in practices and REALLY compete for playing time without getting too crusty toward each other. I wish you could also shed light on Jake Davis’s role-he’s rarely mentioned by other writers and podcasters even though he played almost 30 minutes per game as a frosh at Mercer and projects as a reliable shooter and more. DGL will also be greatly improved and is incredibly quick-he and Ty will both play a lot, I believe. You’ve got a lot of quality subject matter to delve into if you so choose. Thanks again
At 12:15, Sunny says, "I want to know what Tre White's role on this basketball team is." Good topic there (along with many others) in this episode. I have Tre White as Illinois 5th-leading scorer this season at about 9 points a game. Yeah, that's a big role whether he starts or not, so he can be a key player on this team. It should be noted that this will be a significant drop both in scoring and playing time for Tre, but that change should be expected. He's going from a team that was 8-24 and dead last in the ACC to a team that has a chance to be near the top of the BTG. I want a Tre White who listens to Ty Rodgers and is ready to do anything to help his team win. With that attitude from all the guys who Sunny mentioned in this episode, Illinois can be a fantastic basketball team this season.
No matter what lineup starts the for sure 100 percent is Boswell at point,kj at shooting guard, Ben humrichous at power forward. Center and the small forward are the spots that I’m not 100 percent sure on at this moment. I think all depending on the game will decide the rest. Captain for sure is Rodger’s
What's your #1 storyline you want to learn about when practices start this week?
