There was this scene in Park's marriage.... Where the female lead (a noble lady) wanted to visit India. I like how atleast the writers knew that India was a beautiful place in the historical times with a rich history (she was seen showing this wish of hers two to three times throughout the show)

Ya most were offensive. IU saying all that about Kama Sutra wasn’t great. Neither mixing chicken with shiv. The problem is our industry in Bollywood is even shittier. I am sure we have done more embarrassing stuff than them.
@@shubhashrichoudhury7266 ya....All clips are offensive......They never research India and show disrespectful content. In the drama Blood.... they even give false information that it is legal to sell blood in India. I mean...what is that all rubbish? 😡
How much they prejudice about India I come to know when I watched a japanese series where a spokesperson took the call from different countries and when it comes to India he spoke in broken hindi and that moment I loss my mind because they don't even did a basic research that in India international call always initial in english. And not big companies, small companies also communicate in English. And they present the carry catcher that Indian needs help and they don't even manage to arrange a person who spoke their language or English. No way.
Yah, right....... They never did research. Even India has more English speakers than South Korea. They always show South Asian and African countries in a demeaning context. 😠
@@kdramakatcher infact they don't communicate in English because they prioritie their national language obviously, so they assumed same culture for India. In drama rain and shining the Indian character speak in hindi with Korean people means seriously no Indian talk in hindi with foreigners in foreign land.
Every country somehow dealt with the stereotypes, and Indians are not exceptions. India is all about either the over tradition or poverty not a normal portray.
@@kdramakatcher when we as a industry always make fun of east Asian people, kept call them with weird names, mock their features then what we expect in return. It's all about assumptions before research results.
Dude literally none of them are derogatory. And I am indian myself. None of them are even remotely offensive. The clip from whats wrong with secretary kim can be considered offensive without context but if you have the context, even that isnt offensive. You gotta chill out in life my man. Its not a good look on the rest of us if you are literally so nitpicky and uptight about this.

@@pallaviyadav2560 Ya..true. Even 90% of their so-called idols and celebrities.. don't know how to speak English...
These just so how some producers and writers are too ignorant about certain culture and only make basis on hearsay
Ya.....right...totally disrespectful 😒
I didn’t know that so many new dramas would also have such biased scenes about India. This is ridiculous.
Ya.....That's my concern 😟
please upload the praise version as well. some scenes can be taken lightly in comedical context while others are just downright disrespectful
Definitely ...next video ❤️
Yes please

Ya..., but I think when they mentioned any country or religion, they had to be more respectful. Both are sensitive topics.
