A note to folks looking for Steam Deck Compatibility, we have confirmed that we have had a few community members that have been playing on Steam Deck. Please bring this to the Nintendo Switch. There is only one decent Football game on the console besides the first mutant league. I would buy this day one!
@@jeee1074 unfortunately, the current Nintendo Switch hardware is unable to run the sequel as it cannot handle the new graphics engine and as a result the sequel cannot be released for the current Nintendo Switch hardware.

It seems that it is way too easy to injure your players. Also, where's the passing game?? I understand that some people run more than pass but when the ratio of run to pass plays is around 20-5; where's the fun in that?? Spamming run plays will only make players angry and not want to play. Don't get me wrong, the game looks fun, but to be honest; it doesn't seem that far off from the wreck of a game that is Madden. Sorry team

Wait, EA has nothing to do with Mutant Football League? Because the original Mutant League Football was an EA release on the Genesis and SNES back in the 90s, there was also Mutany League Hockey

I have a good feeling about this game I just hope it has bones Jackson in it.
I'm really interested in seeing this game grow and improve. We need more sports games that don't take themselves so seriously and focus on being fun over spending millions for player likeness.

@SeaTK610 The original was Mutant League Football for the Sega Genesis back in 1993. Followed by Mutant League Hockey. This game is the spiritual successor to that, just with the feel of NFL Blitz.

I DID NOT KNOW ABOUT THIS GAME TIL NOW, WE GOT COLLEGE FOOTBALL, DRAGON BALL SPARKING ZERO NOW MUTANT FOOTBALL 2, OMG LIFE IS GOOD, I LIKE HOW THE CHARACTERS LOOK AND THE GAMEPLAY
A bit more polish on the game engine and this has potential to be a classic franchise

Tackle animations look good but what happened to the demons,aliens, and werewolves of the first game. The dialog from the commentators hasn't changed either.
The other races will be in later as well as new commentary lines says the devs
We don't want to spoil all the secrets during early access so some features and charachters will not be available until later, or at launch.

I thought I heard you could in this one. But a video on all the custom/Creation Suite options, would be cool.

I think in the steam description it has a franchise mode, so I think you can to an extent? But it is TBA and not out in the early accesss

When Is The Full Release Coming?
This is basically the first game but with all 32 teams in it and some other new minor teams. Things like online play are cool but I do think some of the dirty tricks should've been upgraded or changed overall.

@mutant football league have you guys thought of an arcade port? Seems like arcade scene is making a bit of a comeback.... could be a great way to fill that Blitz gap for arcade owners that can't find a cabinet.

Which teams are available at launch, and can it be played with a keyboard and mouse?
The teams are limited as are some features for the Early Access. You can play with KB&M however a controller is recommended for the best experience.
Side note, there are currently 16 teams available to play in Early Access. This is up from the original 12 teams we had slated for early access. Enjoy!

I am excited for this, but I need to know... What is new about this? It seems like the same game with better graphics?
It is a much different game, but of course we don't want to spoil it for everyone. More players on the field is just the start. ;)

So far this just looks like the original, which was a lot of fun, with probably somw roster updates. I get you want to have some surprises and all but this doesnt hype me for the game when it just looks like its gonna be the same thing we already bought several years ago with a 2 in the title.

Currently Early Access is only available on Steam for PC. As we are closer to full launch we will have announcements regarding consoles and release dates.
