I suffered from depression for years, and found comfort in Seungyoun's music. I'm feeling better and starting my journey again, on the (actual) island where I moved back, and this song is making me cry the most cathartic, healing tears I've ever shed. I always loved Woodz for his music, his artistry, his charisma, his voice, but this is another level of songwriting. This man deserves everything as a singer, as a musician and as a human being.

I thank Jennie for letting me discover woodz. Ever since she shared HOPE TO BE LIKE YOU in her IG stories, i couldn't help but check his songs in every comeback. I can't say i'm a fan since i barely know him (i do get bored knowing other idols and checking their vlogs or shows) all i know abt him is he was from yg (shared by a moot on blue bird) I listened to his album on Spotify and i loved them. I didn't bother checking the English lyrics. This song (+ drowning, ready to fight, abyss, busted) are all in my BLACKPINK playlist. I haven't feel like removing them since i kept looking for it and join singing them when i play them on speakers.
Are we not gonna talk about how "Journey" is connected with "Abyss" The MV is basically the continuation and how Abyss ends with "I must Love myself less" and how Journey ends with " I might lose myself but I am ready to journey again." What I kind of interpret is how before I was afraid to show the weak side of me and was not able to love every part of me but even though no matter how much in dark I am or the weak side, I believe I can bloom again and love every part of me. I can leave and start the new journey, even though I am afraid but I will not lose myself. I still have the little part of me in my heart. Something like this is what Abyss and Journey are telling, there is more to it BUT no matter how many times I listen to these songs (specially Journey) I CRY. I thank Jennie for letting me discover woodz. Ever since she shared HOPE TO BE LIKE YOU in her IG stories, i couldn't help but check his songs in every comeback.
I can't say i'm a fan since i barely know him (i do get bored knowing other idols and checking their vlogs or shows) all i know abt him is he was from yg (shared by a moot on blue bird)
I listened to his album on Spotify and i loved them. I didn't bother checking the English lyrics. This song (+ drowning, ready to fight, abyss, busted) are all in my BLACKPINK playlist. I haven't feel like removing them since i kept looking for it and join singing them when i play them on speakers.

Are we not gonna talk about how "Journey" is connected with "Abyss" The MV is basically the continuation and how Abyss ends with "I must Love myself less" and how Journey ends with " I might lose myself but I am ready to journey again." What I kind of interpret is how before I was afraid to show the weak side of me and was not able to love every part of me but even though no matter how much in dark I am or the weak side, I believe I can bloom again and love every part of me. I can leave and start the new journey, even though I am afraid but I will not lose myself. I still have the little part of me in my heart. Something like this is what Abyss and Journey are telling, there is more to it BUT no matter how many times I listen to these songs (specially Journey) I CRY. Thank you so much for producing such amazing songs, they are very therapeutic for me and helps me through tough times. All the LOVE and SUPPORT to Woodz 😭💖
