String Shooter

I designed this string shooter after seeing one at Maker Faire Madison made by a the Madison Waldorf School Maker Club.

i like this. i wonder if you had some brushless DC control and maybe some position feedback if you could put in precisely controlled pulses in the speed so that you could have some sort of standing shape or something on the string.

Great machine very nice solutions to friction with bike tubes. supprised only gravity with the top wheel . if yuo could deliberately control the slight differential in speed. Very tempted to build one. thanks for a great video.

Could you not just add a small amount of tape (say electrical) to the front of the funnel over the slot? I love the simplicity of this build! I might have to build one with my kids! Thanks for sharing!!
