- Scott Adds some lyrics! Traditional Song, covered by the Grateful Dead and now the brothers.
Going Down The Road Feelin' Bad, also known as the Lonesome Road Blues, is an American traditional song, "a white blues of universal appeal and uncertain origin" (Ralph Rinzler, quoted on Erbsen 2003, p. 118). It was recorded by many artists through the years; the first known is Henry Whitter in 1924 as "Lonesome Road Blues". Others who made cover versions include Cliff Carlisle (also as "Down In The Jail On My Knees"), Woody Guthrie (also as "Blowin' Down This Road" or "I Ain't Gonna Be Treated This Way"), Bill Monroe, Earl Scruggs, Roy Hall, Elizabeth Cotten and the Grateful Dead.

This is rock history-- you kids get this right? Hey great coverage of these shows. Thanks.
I get it 💀⚡
Pure fun! This is absolutely the mood Jerry was going for!
Go Bobby!
My first Red Rocks show and this is the one I picked. The closest thing I will ever get to a Dead show. I love the Avett Brothers & Bob Weir.
I think Phil Lesh and Friends is much closer to a Dead show than Ratdog shows are... If you haven't gone to a Phil show, you really should. If you can catch him with John Kadliceck, Jackie Greene, Joe Russo and Jeff Chimenti that is the best.
Thank God for Dead & Company!⚡💀
I’m 62, have seen the Grateful Dead, Dead and Company, Phil @ friends and Ratdog. All great in their own ways. In my humble opinion Dark Star Orchestra is full of talented and dedicated musicians that I go see every chance I get. Go experience them, you won’t be disappointed! 😎✌️🇺🇸
That's Tania Elizabeth.
The fiddle player (who is she?) sounds great in this song.
