Well Haley has released several songs off this new album but none of them were released to radio. They were released to RUclips, iTunes, Amazon, Spotify, etc., but not to radio stations. Radio stations, on the other hand, get paid payola by the big record labels to play their artists' music. No pay, no play. Technically it's illegal, but it is still the industry standard around the world. That's why Independent artists, i.e., unsigned artists, very seldom get their music played on the radio. The vast overwhelming majority of music generated by independent artists is never ever heard by the vast overwhelming majority of people. That is why Haley's second album didn't do much. It was because it was an independent project and independent projects simply can't compete with projects promoted and supported by major record labels. Heck, not even Concord can compete with major record labels, which is why I was very disappointed to find out that Haley had signed with Concord as opposed to one of the big major record labels, when all the big major record labels were all trying to sign her last year. As she will never make the big time unless and until she signs again with one of the big major record labels. . Last year Haley signed with ICM Partners for management and with Concord, which both happen to be, coincidentally, who Scott Bradlee is also signed with too. Scott has an independent streak in him due to the way he evolved onto the music scene. However, I'm not sure that non-traditional formula will work for Haley's career, but it is, nevertheless, a testament to the amount of influence Scott exerts on Haley's career. Personally, I'd like to see Haley sign with one of the big major record labels simply due to the fact that they are the only ones that have the ability to turn artists into household names overnight. Perhaps Haley doesn't want to be a household name? I don't know? .

They're not too busy and generic Pop/Dance, but are are definitely ACCOMPANYING her, and her voice comes through so clearly that you can appreciate so much of what she is actually doing with her voice, the changes in tone, the ornaments, the scats and improvisations. We can appreciate her artistry so much more fully.

However, I'll hae to admit that there's more to a good rendition than purely quality of voice. Still, for me these covers are the best version of the songs, originals included, that I've come across.
