I alway carry all kinds of motor with me. Evergreen 1/3 1/2 and 3/4 and some psc also. It saves me time and money and the customer is always happy when I fix it on the spot. It works for me. Good job.
I watch a lot of other channels like yours. You by far are the most professional technician out of all of them . Even when you get rattled you keep your cool. You are very thorough. Keep up the great work.
Love your channel. Think you’re one of the best mechanics on RUclips. Btw, I only change ECM in warranty and most of the time it just needs a module. Out of warranty I always do a PSC motor. I have never once I had a customer complain about a difference in cooling or a increase in their electric bill.
Until you work on Japanese equipment like Fujitsu or Mitsubishi, that isn't possible. You can't use just any motor, it has to be that specific ECM motor for that model or it doesn't work. They use non standard control signals.
The video is good, a tip when using the extractor to take care of the screws that are part of the extractor is to use a 1/2 socket for the three screws that hold the base of the blower and reche and for the screw on the key that put it in the left hand is fine but in the right use a 3/4 or 19 mm socket and the drill with the variable speed and it is faster, using a round brush in the drill with extension makes it more efficient to remove the rust more faster and cleaner. and plan B when there is no WD-40 is to use car transmission oil mixed with acetone removes whatever. greetings
Another great video I love how you show your diagnostic procedure I'm always learning from your videos I hope be as good or close to as good as tech as yourself.

Great video. Those motors are expensive to replace. Give me a Psc motor anyday. Thanks for sharing.
Good job Curtis.
Nice work always Curtis , ECM sometimes to sensitive in hot areas out west 100 plus , 👍✌️💪😸
Good replacement vid Mr Guy ...
I need one of those old motors and drivers for a project if anyone has one they wanna donate . Great Video sir
Just replaced blower on same model last week!!

what a payne in the rear :)

Those x13 blower motors were a big problem when they first come out the modules were constantly burning out
Good video 👍
It does supposed to have a wire guard over the coil. That’s where I take a wire tie and strap up those aggravating wires out of the way
Them x13’s are so easy to change out. Easy 1k 😂 ours come with a two year warranty. The shaft was rusty as hell on mine, had to pull out pullers
Hello, what is the name of that tool to remove the blower motor?
👍👍👍👍👌
why dont you use an impact gun on that shaft???

Sounds like they dont work with motors alot. And ECM is an ECM.

The orange pieces on the baco adj. Come out they are just part of the packaging
Hello. Do you work for any home warranty companies? which companies do you feel are the best in your area ?
I do some work for two different companies - Old Republic Home Protection, and Cinch. They both pay their bills…
Hate ECM motors, hard to tell a homeowner that their motor will be $700.00 to replace....
How much do the universal ECM motors cost? When I see the price of that motor, in my mind I wouldn't buy the high efficiency because of that alone.
@@craiginswflorida9324 But that $700 motor will save you $3/m in power! 🤣
