You'll definitely notice a difference between high and low. It's a welcomed adjustment to suit people's preferences. More brands should add adjustable chainstay lengths too via dropouts. So easy to design and makes a huge difference to ride feel

The adjustable drop outs arnt easy to design...
You need to take into account:
      Chain length
      Hanger
      shock tune
      Suspension leverage changes alot.
with the suspension change comes Rider weight balance aswell.
It's not easy and doesnt often work as intended.
If you want long CS, buy a bike with long CS.

Great to know. I just bought a reign 2 and will be putting the chip in high as i will be doing climbing frequently. Thanks for the insight!

GReat video! to help understand how the flip chip works and how it can be changed. Definitely valuable. I just bought a Trance 1 and this will help give me a head start on getting used to the flip chip.

I guess the high position would be only if you want to make it mullet. I love the looks of that reign, I had the 2020, and I'd like to know how better is this one.

Nice Video, Just bought myself the reign frameset, just wondering where you got the flip chip parts for high and low from because my reign didn't come with them

Nice! You'll love the frame! The flip chip parts was just in a box of extras from when I purchased this bike from my local bike shop. Best to reach out to Giant about getting them.

Flip chip is a big waste just a marketing ploy to get people to believe the hype

So you are saying Stefan here, is making his comments up to support Giant? I just bought a Trance X 1, so I guess I'll find out if it makes a difference.

just bought a trance X1 about 10 days ago and the low setting was about to clap my cranks on everything while climbing... switched to hi position and it solved that issue and definitely helped climbs. it's false marketing ploys like this that make this bike adjustable for terrain 😂

believe what hype? You mean adjusting a bikes leverage curve?
