I have been reading comms between kiss n p. Re the planned illegal bombing of camboadia n laos. I was teaching in cambidia, and met a x-prison guard, and a fellow studen of hun sen, when at colege in vietnam, hun sen has not won an election in ever since being imposed upon khmer.= cambodians.
Tip of the Day: Saddam Hussein was a tyrant. He silenced anyone who dared to speak against him-often with violence. If you weren’t part of his inner circle or family, your life under his rule was full of fear. Simply saying you didn’t agree with his leadership could mean death. That’s exactly what happened to my uncle. One day, while working at our small family shop, men came and took him. He told us, "Don’t worry, I’ll be back." But he never returned. To this day, my grandmother mourns his loss. Let’s also not forget the atrocities he committed against the Kurdish people in northern Iraq-using chemical gas on entire villages, killing hundreds of innocent families. I share this not just as a reminder of the past, but to push back against the disturbing trend of young people-some as young as 13-romanticizing dictators like Hitler, Mussolini, or Saddam. No matter what anyone says, history speaks loud and clear: these men were not good. They were monsters, and we should never forget that.
We currently have a similar trend taking shape here in the US. Even if we manage to avoid such a fate, I fear that what we were has been vanquished by the mere possibility and we will likely never be as before.
Everything you said is true but how does that concern the US? He didn't have WMDs and wasn't involved in the September 11 tragedy.. his tyranny was an issue, but not an American issue, America should have never invaded
@Pinkpompoms591 You’re right that Saddam wasn’t behind 9/11 and didn’t have WMDs. But that doesn’t change the fact that he was a brutal dictator responsible for mass killings, torture, and even chemical attacks on his own people. Whether or not the U.S. gave the ‘right’ reason for invading, the result was that a tyrant who had terrorized Iraqis for decades was finally removed. For families like mine, who suffered under his regime, that mattered. So I don’t see it as just an ‘American issue.’ His crimes affected millions of Iraqis. And while the war created new problems, at least Saddam himself could never hurt anyone again.
@Ali-sx7cn if that's the case, why isn't America invading Israel now that thousands of innocent lives in Gaza have been taken by Israel? Does that logic only apply to third world countries or Islamic regions? The fact is that America had no right to invade. His death alone isn't retribution, the symbolism is more important. A tyrant dying by the hands of the people he oppressed would be justice, not him getting killed by an outsider that thinks tyranny is wrong
There’s conspiracies that Stalin had been dead for days in his room, but his guards didn’t check on him in fear of punishment for opening his door without permission
@thech33f39A leader with absolute power. That’s not applicable to most leaders. Even Putin does not have absolute power because he is restricted by the Russian oligarchs.
8:25 Fun fact: Before Saddam's execution, Trey Parker and Matt stone, creators of South Park sent him a tape with the first South Park movie where Saddam appeared as one of the villains, the best part, is that Saddam even liked the movie and found that detail amusing
3:16 You left out the parts about how their trial was only 5 minutes long, they were executed immediately afterwards, and it was all broadcast on national television
The trial lasted for over an hour. it was an improvised court that’s why he insisted that he didn’t recognize the authority of it and mostly claimed that that was a coup d’etat and didn’t want to provide the prosecutors answers to their questions. Obviously they were found guilty on many accusations such as systematic genocide and received the last capital punishment in Romania ever since.
For the same reasons you are restricted from calling out his jooish predecessors for what they are even though both are euros and share the same background and upbringing
Following is the deadliest story of a deadly evil and his end.... the deadly evil had one ideology, take a sword, humiliate the women, and demand he be accepted as GOD, the entire xtians, jews, and holy pagans were wiped out, their women taken as hostages and used as breeding pigs...those who joined this kult, cannot leave, if left their women would suffer...Thus this evil built a big army who were ready to kill, run genocide program, loot the caravans.... any marriage functions, it will become horrific end for the man and women..... Atlast a jewish women who became his sxxx slabe, poisoned him and he died a slow horrific death....
While in the Philippines. We put our Dictator in the Cemetery of Heroes, and made his son the President of The Republic of the Philippines right now!. Filipinos are so…something else
the Philippines are owned by Americans... so a dictator is not really that bad if he is controlled by America, like Pinochet, Pol Pol and zillion others....
Marcos was a dictator, plain and simple, but it seems like his son isn’t much of an impending political figure like him. He’s more like the Biden of Southeast Asia. Compared to his father who’s… well, a ruthless dictator. Martial law wasn’t necessary, he could’ve simply had the police or military deal with the communist and sectarian rebels. But hey, without him we wouldn’t be who we are today.
That’s a really insightful point. Dictators often let their egos drive their decisions, sometimes at the expense of common sense or the wellbeing of their people. It’s almost like the need to control and dominate becomes so overwhelming that they start to disregard reality or logic. Their egos are inflated by power, and they start believing their own narrative to the point where they think they’re untouchable or infallible. Do you think this is more about the individual or the system they’re part of? Like, is it an inherent trait of dictators, or does the system amplify their ego?
@MariaChavez-kl7rk mainly for lesser dictators and selfish people. Good ones like tito have the willpower and determination to believe their ideologies and ambitions more. Goes for monarchies and their leaders like bismark or franz ferdinand
Yeah RUclips is censored as fuck here let me try something in my next comment I will write the actual words for the Austrian painter, and self un aliving
Yeah, it’s pretty wild when you think about it. Adolf Hitler is often the face of modern evil, and there's a specific historical gravity around him that makes his name almost synonymous with atrocity. Because of the sheer scale of the Holocaust and World War II, there's a kind of universal consensus on his being the embodiment of evil, which means the name tends to get a very specific kind of focus in media and education. But you’re right-other dictators like Stalin, Mao, Pol Pot, or even more recent ones like Kim Jong-un and Assad, have committed equally horrific atrocities. They don’t always get the same kind of focus or scrutiny in global discourse, and that can be attributed to a few factors. Sometimes it's about historical context and how much media attention they’ve had over time, or even how geopolitics shifts the lens through which we view these figures. Some regimes have their own propaganda machines or international support systems, which complicates how we view them. Do you think there's a double standard in how we approach the legacies of dictators based on timing and political context? Or is it more about the sheer scale of the atrocities committed?
Stalin’s death was preventable. It wasn’t left untreated due to fear, it was left untreated due to hatred. His doctors allowed him to die at the behest of others in the government. Tyrants rarely end their lives in good favor with their colleagues, he was no different.
thats what you are assuming.....there is life after death .....and there is great punishments for the wrongdoers....punishments which are very severe God sent many messengers to warn people of this.....there will also be rewards and pleasures for beleivers in his message and gooddoers life is short ....the after life is what is long ....even you will relise this when you go to the next stage .

My mom grew up in communist Romania and was 17 when Ceausescu was executed on live TV. She remembers feeling shocked but incredibly relieved when he was killed, and lived in Buzau, a city relatively close to Bucharest. Just did an APUSH project on her, but hearing the details of the uprising from other sources besides her is really cool.
buzau is nowhere neat close to bucharest. all the respect to your mother but i suggest studying this subject from an obiective point of view if youre truly interested in it. many revolutionaries, including my father, now believe the revolution was done with malice by the west, to rid europe of communism
@ne0I9gy that is not unthinkable, ive looked over a few of the anti-communist overthrows and I have found very often it wasnt a atampt to overthrow the entier economic system, just to bring in democracy, and alot of the opposition groups where democratic socialists and reformist socialists (and also liberals) but for some reason very often once it was over there where not only democratic reforms but also larger than expected/wanted economic reforms.
It's what we call frontier justice. I know this Romanian woman who fled after Ceausescu was executed. She came to USA of all places. She still thinks Ceausescu was the next best thing since sliced bread.
A dictator dying of old age, peacefully on their sleep, sorrounded by their family and having a proper funeral... Unbelievable Edit: by "unbelievable" I meant that I was in disbelief because of how cruel that truth is. I know it's true and I've experienced it in my own country.
I'm not sure if you know this, but there's a channel called "Explained By Sticky" which has uploaded this exact video with a different title and the colour saturation slightly altered. I could send you a screenshot, but idk how to do that. Please look into it! I hope you see this comment.
Pinochet has some nasty quotes that it’s just fascinating how some hate and others praise here in Chile, even to this day, (there’s not a single instance of politics specially in this election year where Pinochet is not mentioned) for instance, there was a reporter that asked him if he was aware of coffins that contained two or more bodies in them to what Pinochet literally replied with “Now that’s economical right there!”
Also the whole "Nothing moves in Chile that I'm not aware of". Or when he in the 80s tells a journalist ti shut up by saying "stop asking weird things or *points at military truck*, *gets in a car and leaves*"
"The Painter" LOL It's crazy how he can't even be named, despite everyone else who did stuff just as bad or worse can be. I wonder if there is an agenda there...
there has actually never been a fascist leader who wasnt at constant risk of treason or betrayal. If you look where fascist govts pop up it's almost always in politically extreme areas where political crime and corruption are seen as just politics. In a sense a fascist government is the product of corrupt, hollow governments being taken over by strong factions using force and sometimes popular support to gain power.
It wasn't the first time. He was kicked out of the socialist party of Italy at first before the end of WW1 and then by his own fascist grand council. The guy couldn't really catch a break

@Grande-DameBecause it’s gone lol. But back when it existed Tito was quite a popular person and Yugoslavia was far from an irrelevant country, and more importantly the fall of Yugoslavia after his death drew a lot of attention, including the brutality of the war in Bosnia, NATO intervention, and an incident that almost sparked WW3.
10:22 Juan Carlos deserves a lot of credit. Franco named him his successor on the condition he continued with his fascist practices and in turn become iron fisted dictator. But dude said nah to all that potential power, and transitioned Spain to democracy on his own accord
I remember watching the Hussein-on-a-rope video just a few hours after it was leaked. I showed it to a few people at the New Year's Eve party I went to the next day.
9:15 this is wrong. It wasn't just some random soldier. He was betrayed by one of his most loyal ministers because he has been cornered by the Americans
1:37 not the only time the government shot protesters in 1989 also paint explainer coincidentally published this video on the 36th anniversary of tiananmen square
@SimplexMu that was a tragic event that most definitely deserves to be remembered, but the Tiananmen Square Massacre should be remembered, too, as hundreds-to-thousands (can't remember the exact death toll) of people died, significantly more than in the Kent State shooting.
1:57 thats not what happened. My parents were there. The way it actually happened: There were rumors of terrorism before the gathering. A few minutes in the gathering, bangs were heard, and people panicked. Some agitators began to shout stuff. To this day, nobody knows what those bangs were.
@Oingoboingo528 no my parents were just random people. The gathering was about taxes and salaries as far as i know, the revolution was freshly put down in other cities(2-3 days before the main event) then the Bucharest gathering happened. In Comunist Romania, when there was a meeting like this, you were forced to go by your employer.
@Oingoboingo528 back then you either complied or stuff would happen to you and/or your family. Extreme cases were arrests, common cases were job related problems(salary cut due to random bs reason, not getting the promotion, relocation etc). You kinda were obligated to go to these kind of meetings, or else you would've been a suspect of being an anti-communist. People had to do contraband just to grill a piece of a pig's ass cheek. Coffee and cigarettes were luxury goods, strong alcohol like whiskey and cognac was ultra-luxury. Times were tough
Mussolini being caught by a guy named Bellini is some mario wario senario

Absolutley revolting how Pol Pot died peacefully, not feeling an ounce of pain he inflicted on millions of Cambodians
He was evil personified. Life really isn’t fair
Pol pot was the creation of henry kissinger, the anti-humaniterian, kissinger also trained up klaus schlob n von der lay den.

Same with Charlie Kirk. But they pulled the episode out of the air
Yep, Saddam was parodied in the HOT SHOTS and NAKED GUNS movies.

It’s almost like being a dictator doesn’t end well. Maybe someone should take notice.
What is your definition of "dictator"??
I love how in the thumbnail you can say every horrible dictator name but God forbid you can't say the mustache man proper name
Damn .I guess our kids will never know the true story of the painter😂😂

Funny that all but two was because of socialism Benito Mussolini was part of THE ITALIAN SOCIALIST PARTY.
Romanian Communist Party was a dominant force in Romania, particularly during the period of the Socialist Republic of Romania
North Korea Article 1 of the state constitution of North Korea is an "independent socialist state".
Joseph Stalin backed Lenin's in the Socialist Revolutionary Party
Pol Pot we got another socialist of Marxist-Leninist Party of Democratic Kampuchea
Saddam Hussein was part of the ARAB SOCIALIST BA'ATH PARTY
Josip Broz Tito led The League of Communists of Yugoslavia (LCY) was the dominant political force in the Socialist Federal Republic of Yugoslavia
augusto pinochet overthrew the democratically elected socialist government of Salvador Allende. like stalin did
Mao Zedong In 1963, Mao launched the Socialist Education Movement
Fidel Castro socialist bernie sanders loves him

@Criticas-muypulentas 0/10 Rage bait.
I'm not sure if you know this, but there's a channel called "Explained By Sticky" which has uploaded this exact video with a different title and the colour saturation slightly altered. I could send you a screenshot, but idk how to do that. Please look into it! I hope you see this comment.
Who else thinks that Ceausescu got an interesting final story out of them all here?
The painter explaining about a former painter. 💀😂
Fake.
Goofy
@amandinehasi-dim5531 What is?
More accurately FAILED painter
Pinochet has some nasty quotes that it’s just fascinating how some hate and others praise here in Chile, even to this day, (there’s not a single instance of politics specially in this election year where Pinochet is not mentioned) for instance, there was a reporter that asked him if he was aware of coffins that contained two or more bodies in them to what Pinochet literally replied with “Now that’s economical right there!”
At least Videla was found dead on his prison cell's toilet, he didn't even get the luxury of home confinement.
If it wasnt for Pinochet, Chile wouldve become Venezuela
Also the whole "Nothing moves in Chile that I'm not aware of". Or when he in the 80s tells a journalist ti shut up by saying "stop asking weird things or *points at military truck*, *gets in a car and leaves*"
Margaret Thatcher’s friend. May she burn in hell with him
@TomJohnson-f2wchile was a shithole under Pinochet you moron lol
fun fact Argentinas last dictator, Videla, died pooping on his jail
He wasn't Argentina last dictator tho
@TheShaitan2000 still quite funny though
Last?
must've been a shit leader then
@TheShaitan2000 Oh? Then, who WAS the last, if I may ask?
You can literally find the original Trial video of Nicolae Ceaușescu and Elena
Don't ask if you should do a part 2 - Just Do It. Your content is top quality
He needs comments for algorithm reasons tho
Tito outlived mao
Tito was not a dictator, except for the Ustashe, a Croatian nazi collaborators!
China outlived Yugoslavia
5:55 the supernatural event description is killing me😂 i cant believe they could say it in a straight face
fr, they acting like he God
"The Painter" LOL It's crazy how he can't even be named, despite everyone else who did stuff just as bad or worse can be. I wonder if there is an agenda there...
6:50
"his arteries were severely damaged by atherosclerosis - a disease that damages arteries"
bro no shiiiii
Funny that all but two in the video was because of socialism
Funny that all but two was because of socilism
I didn't know Josef had a leg amputated because of poor leg circulation .
I love how this video just starts off by the point. Unlike most RUclipsrs who yap about sponsors and off topic stuff. Awesome video.
200th like ❤
English bro?
2:04 there are footage of this speech and crowd where it shows him yelling at the protesters
there were no protesters there. the whole footage shows them cheering afterwards. people were just panicked and he told them to calm.
Suicide is a term that is censored?
BTW Ceaușescu"s execution was live in TV at the time.
The United Nations didn’t exist when Mussolini died.
But it was quite clear they will, after several conferences.
It was called the Allies, in 1945 the UN was created and named
@yvonnebasson8652
League of nations
The treaty hadn't been signed, but that was the official name of the Allies.
The Potsdam meetings had established the future United Nations
4:18 Lol at Tojo. Nursed back to health to stand trial and then be sentenced with execution.
Mussolini was also beheaded and used by kids as a soccer ball
3:39 crazy how before 9/11 there were still probably like 2 people mourning on this day
Pinochets coup on Allende happened on 9/11 in 1973
9:10 you forgot to mention that the entrance was hidden by bricks and rubble
He also had an air vent and a fan
1:15 I thought it was lamp post
u forgot to include margaret thatcher diving into a bowl of cereal
"Every Major Dictator"
Uganda, Libya, DRC/Zaire, Liberia, Zimbabwe, Chad, CAR, Mali, Niger, Benin, Nigeria, Gabon, Guinea, Rwanda, Zambia, Somalia, Burundi, Sudan: "is Africa a joke to you?"
maby because the average person wouldnt have a clue about any of them, comeon use ur brain
you literally answered your own question
they arent major
@walkingtree2486Muhammar Gaddafi and idi Amin are the only major ones
They aren't major also why would the creator make a video super lonhh
Mussolini being so bad his government betrayed him. Lol
there has actually never been a fascist leader who wasnt at constant risk of treason or betrayal. If you look where fascist govts pop up it's almost always in politically extreme areas where political crime and corruption are seen as just politics. In a sense a fascist government is the product of corrupt, hollow governments being taken over by strong factions using force and sometimes popular support to gain power.
Syfm
you cant blame him, germany forced italy to join hes side, reducing italy’s preparation time
I mean, he was basically a mini Hitler with how he treated the population.
It wasn't the first time. He was kicked out of the socialist party of Italy at first before the end of WW1 and then by his own fascist grand council. The guy couldn't really catch a break
0:26 we say wife shall we?
Let's hope there’s another one added to this list soon.
Just one, what about the rest of them.
There is a song called “Bella ciao” where you can hear audio of musselini getting his head beat in.
Sta ma*Slap!*ttina, mi sono alz- *Slap!* ato,
Be*Slap!*lla ciao, bella ciao, bella *Slap!* ciao ciao ciao,
Sta ma*Slap!*ttina, mi sono alz- *Slap!* ato,
È ho trov*Slap!*ato l'inva*Slap!*sor,
o partigiani, porta mi *Slap!* via...
Horrible
@iacopoascioti2894 nah, not in the slightest.
Maybe a version of it, but not the original song
@TemplaCon I'm sure if someone records a song with someone being tortured in the background, that is pretty disturbing. Unless you are a sociopath...
4:44 bro pulled out Beijing 2008
so they saved Tojo in order to k*ll him💀 4:05
Is youtube so pathetic that people are banned from using words like 'death', 'murder' and ' suicide' ?
ROMANIA MENTIONED RAHHH WTF IS A GOOD LEADER 🇷🇴🇷🇴🇷🇴🇷🇴🇷🇴🇷🇴🇷🇴🇷🇴🇷🇴🇷🇴🇷🇴🇷🇴🇷🇴🇷🇴🇷🇴🇷🇴
Am I the only one or does the flag make colorful stairs when you spam it
it looks like individual pixels on an led screen
You know Romania is irrelevant globally when people from there come to announce it as it's so rarely mentioned LOL cringe asf
@drewinabowl bro tf you mean Globally irrelevant 😭
@drewinabowl true lmao the only thing it has going on is its weird elections and the Tates
They save Tojo from death and he was sentence to death again. Wtf😂😂
Reminds me of DJANGO UNCHAINED when the marshal says, 'As much as I like to, ain't no one going to cheat the hangman in my town.'
Haha the thumbnail just says The Painter. I love it. 😂😂
youtube shut up with the suicidal thing and let me learn
Not having Iddy Amin is crazy work.
Are you Ugandan? If not SU.
“Major dictators”. Most people couldn’t point to Uganda on a map
@danielwoods3896 Most Americans you mean, they don't know any countries exist outside of America 😂😂
@danielwoods3896and most people who couldn’t find Yugoslavia on a map.
Awwwe man
and that's how spain died
@copón-w ?
then it turned into the socialist cesspool it is today
@MM-jc7uv Franco saved spain. Stop buying communist/leftist propaganda
3:47 imagine surviving a fatal injury only to be sentenced to death sometime later
Dictators not listening to doctors was debilitating for me to watch
8:46 Boi 🫱

Nicholas Romanov.
Where is Leopold? Seems like everyone always forgets one of the most evil dictators...
I remember watching the Hussein-on-a-rope video just a few hours after it was leaked. I showed it to a few people at the New Year's Eve party I went to the next day.
@fr_2me uncensored?
@fr_2me So it was censored.
it's always sad to hear of someone getting struck down in their early nineties.
9:15 this is wrong. It wasn't just some random soldier. He was betrayed by one of his most loyal ministers because he has been cornered by the Americans
Who was it?
Man the thumbnail having hitler and hitler being called "the painter" is soi crazy
1:37 not the only time the government shot protesters in 1989
also paint explainer coincidentally published this video on the 36th anniversary of tiananmen square
US Guard shot college students who were protesting in Kent State in 1970, was it that you're referring to?
lol shit u r right yet somehow deng is not mentioned in the video at all
@SimplexMu that was a tragic event that most definitely deserves to be remembered, but the Tiananmen Square Massacre should be remembered, too, as hundreds-to-thousands (can't remember the exact death toll) of people died, significantly more than in the Kent State shooting.
February 28 incident in Taiwan too
@si...oh damn 1989 was a really bad year to protest against the goverment
Crazy not putting Antonio Salazar on the list, when he was the head of an empire that was going from europe to asia
legit watched a video on the Romanian revolution yesterday, nutty how it went down
You should make a part 3 video
That should an eye opener for those who want to be dictators.
Yeah 9 out of 10 times you can get away with murder. So the odds are in your favor.
1:57 thats not what happened. My parents were there. The way it actually happened: There were rumors of terrorism before the gathering. A few minutes in the gathering, bangs were heard, and people panicked. Some agitators began to shout stuff. To this day, nobody knows what those bangs were.
Good to know
I would have more trust in your parents than any OFFICIAL account
@Oingoboingo528 you are pretty ignorant of the history of the Communist Iron Curtain countries arent you
@Oingoboingo528 no my parents were just random people.
(9:48)
"...and in other news.. he's STILL dead!"
The PAINTER... GET -OU
i cant belive you forgot Hirohito and idi amin
no forgot, has little boys no big massmurder dictators, same than Hitler only little boy no murder many people
Holy mispronunciation, Batman
And then there's Salazar (Portugal) who fell off a chair and died :P
When’s Starmer going to be added ?😂😂😂😂😂😂
