Got the baffle idea backwards, having the turbo baffle installed forces grass to exit the deck more quickly and it prevent grass from reentering the cutting chambers
@@CamdenGardenSolutions heavy discharge means you are most likely under raked either from tire pressure or not leveling the frame first before the mower deck
They way I was explained to, the baffles help create a vacuum. Without them cut quality may change and be more inefficient. Either way that specific baffle I would say stop it from cycling again and helps discharge. I would argue by removing that specific baffle, some of the grass would go right back around again.
I currently have my baffle off. So much air pushing out the discharge. Very little if any grass will go back under the deck. Rather not have to clean behind the baffle so much. Everyone has an opinion, just trying myself to see what I like. Nothing set in stone for me yet.
I notice less load on the engine with the baffle out in longer grass. The cut quality isn’t as good as it doesn’t recycle the clippings into the deck quite as much. Good for overgrown tall jobs
Nice video with awesome footage of the Toro Standers in action. I highly recommend the 7 Eleven slow cooked pies as well mate They are very tasty. Do you like yours with sauce ?
Rich Scott your welcome, it all depends on your sites. I like the 48 as it’s the same platform as the 52” but can just get into slightly narrower places. But if you have big open areas go for the 52” mate.
I just got a grandstand 52!! Didn’t realize they didn’t have scalping wheels on it. Found your video and I follow you on Instagram now here. What’s your thoughts on scalping wheels vs non scalping wheels cause I am irritated cause I assumed that my 52 came with them.
Thankyou for the follow mate ! yes, I honestly think they need to start installing them from the factory. you can order them but they should be a standard option in my opinion.

That’s interesting mate. The grass seems to exist the deck quicker and put less load on the engine without it in.

true
Gd day!! Torn between buying a 48 or 52 granstand.Does the 52 scalp more then the 48 Is the 52 better for trimming. Thanks in advance.
It depends on your sites. I’ve found that the 48” has been the perfect fit for my business.

Does it leave tyre lines got the scag 32 it's terrible for tyre lines
Try focusing on a fixed object in front of you after place the mower on the path if you want to get a straight line.

Thankyou mate, I usually skip the sauce 👍🏻
@@CamdenGardenSolutions No sauce That's crazy
how do you manage to tuck your ears into your hat like that?
It’s difficult mate !
Thanks for the real life cutting situation should I get a 48 or a 52 I feel the 52 might have better trim ability?
