Never underestimate the power of one. When this happened I started a campaign to save the dairy. With God as my guide I first spoke to Ray and his family. They smiled at me and said sure give it a try, not expecting much. And with that it began. I started with the local government and media . They came to cover the story, first channel 9(my first interview) then channel 5 and finally channel 4(last interview) and 7 took the story statewide. The mayor of Montebello stepped in to cut through the red tape that was straggling the dairy here locally and in Sacramento. Then the Governors office got involved to push through regulations exempting the dairy from a list of new requirements. The public's response was so heartwarming, to see the line going around the block for months until the laws were changed. Since then the flood of loyal and new customers have kept it going . Who knows how much time God gives us . I pray this place is here long after I'm gone. It's truly a local gem, Praise God!
I miss the old days when companies like this would deliver it to your front door and leave it in those metal coolers that everyone had on there front porch.
A milkman (1920?-1998) used to live on the south side of my property. He was difficult to get along with. That may be one of the reasons dairy farms don't like to pay a milkman to deliver milk to your doorstep.
Just bought some yesterday, from Vons, the glass bottle makes *all the difference* to the taste of the milk and that is why I buy it; please try not to change.
THE BEST!! I love their chocolate milk and just discovered their strawberry milk!!
This is the best chocolate milk around and well worth the price. So glad that they reopened.
I hope they dont get rid of the glass bottles

If I was a multibillionaire I would give them as much money as possible to stay open..
@1:24 Sweetheart, it is Southern Calif and in the Bay Area that make the decisions, not Sacramento..

When I think of the dairy I remember Donald Broguiere. He should have taken over
0:39 Broguiere has an old truck because he doesn't like car dealers.
