That was Big Country Justin Swanstrom's Dad and crew that jumped the wall to help mike out of his car ... A lot of people might not like them but they're stand-up people ....
Yeah. Stand up dicks is what they are. The very least any racer should do is help another racer in that situation

I slowed it down and it appears Big Country Pulls Mike out and goes down with Mike to the Ground and it ended before knowing if Mike and Big Country are OK. If anyone knows, please reply to this. Prayers for all involved.

Ryan Martin .. Ryan martins vehicle they tow the car back with is a smart car ... The people got out of Justin's golf cart .... There are other videos that you can watch that you can hear people say that's big country ... The great thing is someone got it on video and I'm sure it will be posted ..... Unfortunately we lost to number 2 in points Kye Kelley in the Semis. Congratulations to Howe Motorsports and the entire team for their win this weekend! Also super proud of my team mate Justin Swanstrom for taking out Ryan Martin this weekend and also making it to the semi finals this weekend.
Special thanks to my mom and dad Tara N Dewayne Mills for allowing me to live out my dream of being a racecar driver. Without your sacrifices and love for me I wouldn’t be where I am today. I will never be able to pay back all you guys have done for me. I hope I make you all proud.
My crew is one of the hardest working crews out there every one of them have jobs they work M-F if you see them at the track on any other day than Saturday or Sunday they are taking vacation. Thank you all for believing in me and supporting me. I know we don’t have the fastest car out there but we will after this little break. We are going testing to make sure we have a car for everyone. You know our saying IF YOU WANNA BE A CHAMPION.. WORK BABY WORK.
We had a pretty big scare this weekend my Uncle Mike Murillo Racing had a bad fire at the end of the track luckily Big Country jumped the wall and bear hugged Mike and helped him get out of the car after having some issues getting out. Cars can be replaced family can’t be so thank the Good Lord Mike is okay and no one is hurt after that.

All the comments about the safety crew taking too long are hilarious. Folks they can't come out on track when it's not clear. If you notice the moment Ryan turns off they are on track heading to Mike. Or would you prefer they come flying on and risking the safety of themselves and Ryan as well?

Some tracks are awesome & take safety hardcore. Then some of these other track's safety crew's. Either waiting for drivers to turn into BBQ, or they stare from wherever they are posted up. Just lookong at the car like, " Damn kinda looks like a fire down there". Its night & Day difference when compared to each other. Then need a set standard across the nation, Safety needs to always be at the top. It's just like with driver's, they would love to not have to put a heavy azz roll cage in their car, but they know it saves their life so its non-negotiable. Need to start hitting tracks with fines & shut down orders, if they arent meeting a certain level of safety when in operation. Sorry for the rant, it just pisses me off. When I see safety crews, take their sweet azz time, getting to a wrecked car.
These guys need to watch how the Safety Safari operates and copy there procedure.

Not just practice getting in and out of the car, but do it with all safety gear on.
Even better to practice from belted in, doors closed, to out away and safe
And practice with your eyes closed. You never know what conditions you may be in where your vision could be affected.
NPK, needs to get a better safety crew. The racers' have close to $350k in each car. And their lives are also in the hands of most, likely volunteer fireman. No, disrespect meant towards volunteer fireman but this is something a little more serious. Faster reaction to the situation at hand is crucial. The longer it takes to put out fire, the more damage to the car and driver.
I mean they should have a fire suppression system if they’re worried about their cars burning down……….

@@JLC87420 they have fire suppression systems, they need them to pass tech, but when you have oil or fuel blowing everywhere that system isn’t gonna do anything. It might help just enough to get the driver out of the car which is the main goal

It's events like these that make's getting out of the car in a hurry almost impossible when your packing on an extra 250 LBS you don't need..I'm surprised they got him out at all ....

Say what you want about NHRA but the Safety Safari would of been at Mikes door helping him out by time his car rolled to a stop. The delay to help him here is inexcusable. So glad he’s OK.

Yeah my dads intake blew off so the oil went everywhere so we caught on fire he is in the hospital rn and he should be alright though he has a few cuts and burns 🙏🏽

They need fire extinguishers posted about every 100 feet down the raceway outside the walls. It often takes FOREVER for fire crews to get to the car. Maple Grove is the worst example of slow fire crew response.
@@mikejones8866 I thought most cars had safety fire levers that extinguish car fires and fire extinguishers inside the car. But as for outside yes they need safety trucks and crews every so many feet. These cares are thousands/millions of dollars to go up in flames like that suck. Not to mention a life!
