Absolutely. I might be the oldest member of the Peaceful Army, but these young men have changed my life...seriously. So positive...I have always had a new age view of the world...and these awesome guys just make that better.
Thats my favorite part of greta van fleet their music has so much going on but in a good way it flows so nicely and smoothly that you can focus in on each instrument/vocals and pick out somthing amazing every time

And Josh of course sings like an angel. You will love it - I can almost see you taking off your headphones and just sitting for a little bit to gather your thoughts.
Had a buddy that could shred the guitar and was truly talented, i found out about greta a few months after his death, i wish i could have showed him just this one song
Thank you for introducing me to Greta Van Fleet... im 54 years old and i have only heard of GVF 3 days ago when I started watching your Reaction Videos... thank you Brother for this wonderful Gift you have Given me. I truly feel like it's music for my Soul... Every Song filled with meaning and Substance. I Love all my Classical Rock and Roll that I Grew up with but it's such a great feeling to see these young men, who were clearly influenced by the great Rock bands of the 70's, breathing New Life and New Artistc expressions to a musical style that I Love so well. ( abd yes I love this song so much that I made that riff my ringtone...lol )

YESSSS! I've built up an entire story in my mind that plays out to this song! The children playing with "toys of war" in the beginning - the "funeral of innocence" where Josh's voice decends into a sadness at its demise - the "painted up in red and dressed in lead" - all can be seen in my imagination. The pounding music, the crecendo of vocals .... I'm worn out by the end! "Alas Babylon" is so fitting! Thanks for another great reaction, Marco. 😎🥳😊
That part that you called "hard rock" always gave me some Rush vibes. Danny's drum work was awesome. You'll love Trip, but THE WEIGHT OF DREAMS!! And I see I'm not the only one excited for that one lol
You’re exactly right, there are so many surprises around every corner in this song. There are parts that are reminiscent of dare I say, Rush? This was one of the tracks that they didn’t think they would have time to put on the album but Covid changed that…Caravel was the other. Probably one of the only good things to come out of the pandemic.
If im not mistaken, I believe "The Barbarians" was meant to be on the next album, but they decided to place it with TBAGG, I think that's why I feel that they went beyond our imagination with this one, it was meant to be in a different time

I think we want more, but since the tempo is slow...we don't get it necessarily. I know people don't want them to do Led Zep things, but changing the tempo for part 2 of song wouldn't hurt... you said they went there..but they could really go to another place...even get a little more funky barbaric place with a little more pace..

Only heard of this band in feb this year and saw them live in London two weeks ago. Fantastic can’t wait to see them again in the future x
I recommend listening to some of their older songs to like safari song, black smoke rising, age of man, etc.
