      but i have one question. wouldnt it be better if your are young to firstly eat protein and fat trough out the day and later spike your insulin so your body can fistly produce hgh to have higher growth hormone levels? Because if insulin is spiked your body will produce way less hgh.

    • @ExcellentHealth
      @ExcellentHealth  9 месяцев назад +1

      @@Jonathan-jr7mm See, I once got a question about insulin and growth hormone on TikTok, and I showed the person this pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/29063103/
      The gist of it is that the relationship between insulin and growth hormone is not clear at all. They're not necessarily antagonists in a healthy person. I believe that the standard rules apply here. Eat carbs in relation to movement, and eat fat and protein when you're hungry. As long as you eat carbs as a separate meal, I believe it would be best to eat them earlier in the day.

      @@ExcellentHealth Ok i understand, i aslo think it makes the most sense to eat carbs in the morning. I just think i've heard that insulin blocks the production of GH or a precursor of it but now when i think about it GH ist mostly produced while sleeping so this makes sense.

    hi i've switched to a diet of all carb and ~400g raw lean meat(chicken breast, liver) at dusk. no fat, only the trace that goes with the meat. its been a few days and it feels great. carb source almost makes no difference, be it fruit or starch or literal pure table sugar, all feels about the same. this flips upside-down half of the things i used to believe in.

    • @ExcellentHealth
      @ExcellentHealth  9 месяцев назад +1

      You need to do this for a while to start feeling the effects of it. I don’t know what your carb source is, but you can very easily become deficient in fat doing this. You’re also going to get inadequate amounts of fat soluble vitamins. Continue the experiment, but keep these things in mind. If you feel like you need to eat fat, eat it.
