Honestly, the BEST thing to use to practice your teardrops and swirls is cardboard. This has the best texture to skin compared to any other product that you can buy at a craft store.

Do you wet the paint first ,I've never used them before 😄
The paints I use are water activated, so the brush or paints need to be a little wet in order to use them.
