Times when defeating zakum was a great achievement that took 30+ minutes for a guild to do and when balrogs on a boat were hard and that u paid a ticket to get on the boat.
Smzig, that's what made it amazing. The elitist culture was warranted. Given how hard and long people trained. KS wars were appropriate as well. Positioning for power. It was almost political.

1.) If maple is so easy to lvl up now how many lvl 275s do you have? You better say at least 5 lvl 275s if you think it's really easy to lvl up now. Otherwise your point is mute here. 2.Well you can thank mesos bots for the hene to be deserted. That and the fact most players now are high lvl and are in the higher lvl maps after 5th job. 3.) Not exactly sure what you mean by more job 4. If you're talking about more jobs than just being 3rd job. That's just stupid answer to quit the game. Eventually all mmos end up having higher progression so the player doesn't get bored of doing the same exact thing over and over. Bosses get much harder and thus you need to have more power to beat them. 4th job or now 5th job doesn't remove any sort of fun out of the game. Also those jobs give you another acheivement to reach so again you don't get bored. 4.) There is still balrogs just hardly anyone takes the ship anymore since 1. they are too easy to kill now and 2. You have more ways to get around the game faster than just the long 20 min boat rides that were unnecessary and most players just afk'd in the boat for 20mins. 5.) There no more team work in zak since zak is not a true boss anymore. czak is a bit harder but still not a really big boss, you have far harder bosses you need to team up with now such as will, lotus, and now the black mage. Again your reasons are just stupid.
Just throwing this out there. But While I do agree that the Social aspect of Maplestory is gone and Skill/stats tweaks were given unnecessary changes that really remove the creativity and enjoyment of leveling up… Getting to Lvl 120 back in the Day, was F**king GRINDY to the point of Tearing out your own Hair…especially if you Die, losing half your Exp bar in the process was Nightmarish and Quests hardly gave you any Exp at all since you were either collecting or Killing unreasonable amounts of Enemies for Scarps of Exp. Even Farming Monster Drops were terrible since you had to have GODLY amounts of Luck to even stand a Chance at getting something good from a Boss or Mid-Boss. Honestly, I do want the Aspects of the Old Maplestory back, but I'll be Damned if I EVER do Slow 2 to 3 weeks of Non-stop Grinding just to Level to Pass 116! F**k those's Long and Grueling, frustrating Days!
The 80k was a full 50k stack explosion by Chief Bandits. They'd waste millions for speed runs, but they get paid just as much to do so. Having 5 or more CB's in a Zak run meant you had a VERY high chance you were going to complete it.
because, the bandits in the part use meso explosion toward the end, watch all the little red explosions were the bags were, that move does godly damage.
sad i always like the breaking benjamin's songs. But btw, dray, how did u film the battle scene when ur still playing the com?? And also, won't it be abit laggy inside zakum altar??

bro its now like less than a week probably dont take more than 3 days to be a lvl 200. It used to be a few years of training.. Really looking at these maple old school videos make us feel that how can we get them back.Sounds quite impossible but however i believe there is a way for everything! i also heard that wizet is developing 'Maplestory 2'

the ~80k hits are from meso bomb. dmg wise it was the strongest skill back then and people used to drop a few million mesos before spawning the boss just to bomb the first few seconds and deal a lot of dmg. sadly this cool skill got removed a long with many others that made this game more "creative". there are many skills that only differentiate in look instead of dmg/hits/speed/..
