    Advantages and disadvantages of using one over the other.
    I am a big fan of using Time Based Sets versus Rep Based Sets. Especially when it comes to RBT. However they both have their advantages and disadvantages. Let's talk you through the difference and why Timed Based Sets are better with RBT workouts.

    Solid presentation Dave. I prescribe for my folks rep schemes for mechanical overload/failure and timed work/rest ratios for more metabolic overload.

    time, aka 'high intensity training' is better. Basically it is just doing slower reps, going to failure. It's particularly good with bands b/c many exercises with bands can be a bit easy if going full speed, but much more tiring when you do slow reps (and you can just 'up the weight' like on a selectorized machine of course).

    Time workouts are great and more taxing on the muscles!!
