    I've been enjoying one of these for about a month now. For the first week I had second thoughts of whether it's worth $300 because I have other much less expensive knives that flip out nice and are just as sharp. What I realized is that when you compare a $300 knife to a $100 knife, out of the box they may not seem different. However, with a well made knife like this one, the price difference becomes more apparent when it goes through some use and abuse but still keeps working like the day you got it. Also seeing Neroknives talk about all the intricacies helps with understanding the price vs. perceived value. This knife has many features you wouldn't know about unless you take it apart, or just watch vinny do it. Thanks for the great video!

    Man I just recently bought one a couple weeks ago in 204P and I’m sold! It’s my new favorite knife it has literally kicked everything out of my pocket and it actually talks shit to the rest of my knives! 🤬
    Awesome video can’t wait to see the review 👊

      Haha! Very true. Thought it would b a sisy on the ball bearings. Somehow it was just put on steroids. I like the older ones better but this thing can't b denied.

    Agree with you. This is the toughest "production" four inch folder period. Kicked my Military, Contego and ZT0452 out of my pocket. I was so impressed that I bought three. I use mine primarily as a camp knife when I don't feel like carrying a fixed. Like you said, if you can have only one four inch folder THIS IS THE ONE.

    I may not agree with his business practices but the man can build a knife. I used my doc for work. More sweat water dirt than most will see in a life time. That thing kept trucking I never lubed it. While my cold steel xhp recon and American lawman jammed up every day, almost. I had a very dirty job. I'm not the biggest fan of ball bearings but Mt does them right. Really my pre 2012 socoms come out smoother and faster with the sebenza like bearing but they have the tiniest amour of blade play. Hardly noticeable. The new ones might not b as strong but they have no play. U would almost think it was a fixed blade if u closed your eyes.

    Still looks good but use a utility blade to do renovation work and the socom elite for self defense.

      Horrible advice. Self defense with a knife is just stupid unless you're trained. Get a gun for self defense. A knife is a tool

      @@dstnctw2123 You don't know how to fight so I'm not talking to people like you. I'm talking to people who go to work everyday and might run into some trouble with someone that wants to rob them, they can't carry a gun outside of their home so the only thing they can use is mace and knives. A knife is also a self defense tool. Don't be a fool be smart and use what's legally available for you.

      @@kawikadee9670 I assure you I know how to fight hahaha don't need a knife. Look it up a knife is a horrible self defense weapon, you're more likely hurt yourself or get it taken from you than use it as an effective weapon. Dumbass

      @SharpThinkingKnives  4 года назад

      Damn that's a hard one, I'd have to say overall the zaan takes it by a sliver. Considering the price is like $125 more it should be better though

    Not a fan of microtech apparently you can’t sharpen them if want to have a warranty that sucks and is beyond stupid

    • @DRWArchitecture
      @DRWArchitecture 5 лет назад

      bp69 yeah, mostly it’s if you screw up you’re edge. I know people who have sharpened it themselves (correctly sharpened that is) and they had no problems what so ever. But still, it made me hesitant to buy a microtech. Also I’ve had two great experiences now with their warranty department unlike many of the reviews that call t a nightmare.

      This is not true. I've had lots of experience dealing with Microtech's warranty service when sending back lots of their knives that I bought on the secondary market. They were all serviced no questions asked. Many of them had clearly been sharpened before. They might take issue with a knife that was sharpened on a grinder and gotten totally mangled in the process.
      I can tell you from my own personal experience that any knife that has been sharpened by a competent owner, it will be serviced with no issues.
