1 trillion years from now, star formation ends in galaxies as galaxies are depleted of the gas clouds they need to form stars.

And also, even if you did somehow trap it somewhere or moved somewhere it couldn't reach you, the snail is smart and will always find a way to get to you. So you would have to be on the move all of the time, or atleast whenever the snail is nearby.
