Hasbro Pulse arrived this morning! First impressions, I love this dude. I loved him in the cartoon and as soon as I saw this figure I knew I was getting it. Out of the box, he looks amazing. Like seriously, I absolutely recommend this dude. As far as complaints.. some of the paint from his sleeves is on his arms, but it's a really small amount and I'm not gonna notice it most of the time but it is not perfect. Other than that, his belt was a bit loose but I managed to pose it how I liked. Really, nothing major for complaints. This dude kicks ass. I do wish they would keep one damn box style though. I'm trying to display them in my storage room and now I have 3 different shapes and sizes of boxes. And the artwork on the side doesn't match up anymore! That said, of the 3 boxes I prefer the most recent style the most. You can't see the figure, but if that's the design they're going with ultimately, than this is better than the previous version.
So far, my sons and I have collected around 11-12 Classified because we started late but Shipwreck is one of our favorites that we have so far. The figure looks great!
Congrats on getting Shipwreck so early. He first appeared in the second 5 part mini series The Revenge of Cobra - The Weather Dominator. It is my favorite 5 part mini series out of the 4 not including The Movie. He has some of the best character development through out the series. He also appears in the third mini series with Snake Eyes as they learn about how to destroy the Pyramids of Darkness.
I agree with you about the hat. As a matter of fact, if you dropped that hairpiece down the furnace register and never saw it again, it would be just fine.
I had the original figure as well as a kid. Loved it so much. And yes the hat is iconic. Though I remember the creepy " for a kid" episode where he supposedly had a family. And they were clones and melted. He didn't wear his hat then. So I can see it without. But obviously I display him with.
I think shipwreck is one of my favorite classified figures. Even though i hated waiting so long for him I am glad we got the cartoon inspired minor update instead of the wave 1-3 Modern updated figures.
There is an easter egg in the front glamour shot, the bike in the background is from the p.s.a. he was in. I love this figure because I had the original and it's pure nostalgia!

I’m pretty sure hat-less Shipwreck comes from the Devil’s Due comics. As for Polly, she’s obviously recent lost a foot in the war on Cobra. I think this is the first Polly with a peg leg.

Just got my Shipwreck today. It looks amazing, but... it's so odd, the right arm will not bend no matter how much pressure I put on it. Upon closer inspection it looks like the swivel joint plastic piece was never separated from the rest of the arm. It's like the entire arm is one solid piece of plastic, even the color (vs. the working left arm elbow/joint which has a slight different tone than the rest of the arm). Anyone else run into this issue? Never had that problem with any Classified Series figure.
Shockwave is my number one want for this line, but Shipwreck was a VERY close second. Overall I'm happy, but I'm disappointed in the hair swap gimmick. I'd much rather have an alternate head. I buy these for my 8 year old son to play with and I fear the cap will get lost in the toy box. I already have Lady Jaye in a bag somewhere waiting for me to get around to gluing it in place. Now I have another.
Actually Kyle, strongly disagree on the hat - I immediately switched to the regular hair and may as well have binned the hat as I’m never using it. The only hat I’d want is a beanie like the later, more modern version of him. Did the same with Jaye, the cap stays in the package!
