Theres a cheating problem and theres cheaters in certain games its not as problematic as the integrity is much much better. CS is the worst for cheaters in a popular esports game.

lol what? You guys think there’s only 170k accounts on CS? There’s over a million different players on a 24 hour cycle. None of this is true.
You can see that it's only account that are connected to leetify, but yes you are right, that population can't represent the CSGO/CS2 user base, heck I don't even use leetify.

I think it's the same with what happened in overwatch 2. Cheating was pretty rampant in the early access days but was quickly squashed when it came out officially.
its been even worse the past 2 weeks. couple cheats went free with wallhack and triggerbot. i dont know how much longer i can play this game specially since i solo que.

cs has had a deep rooted problem with cheaters for ages and ages. valves anticheat needs to be more aggressive and invasive if it wants to be effective

Here's an idea:
Capture the hardware signature of their VIDEO CARD, then BAN any account associated with that hardware signature.
Cheaters can keep making new accounts, but they aren't likely to purchase new graphics cards each time they get banned. Problem solved.
The graphics card is the most expensive part of a gaming PC, for those of you not technically savvy.
Honestly any game after 12 am in global right now is just cheaters.

@@AB-wo9vo about every other game for me. But yeah it’s bad. As a former top 500 overwatch player I run into maybe one or two cheaters a year, that’s it.
Edit: I’m only 10k in cs2 but it’s almost once a session I run into 1-2 cheaters

They added a lot of sketchy accounts in to the beta just to test out new anti-cheat and ban them ;)
Problem is they arent banning them. Ive had 2 matches with extremely blatant cheating and reporte them and literally nothing happened.

nah, valve just needs a working anti cheat. Non prime is actually full of cheaters, free cheats are undetected.

@@Pasha_Shkaf I am lv10 and in 6 years never seen a cheater. There are no publicly sold cheats and hardware/DMA cheats have a hefty price thats in the thousands. While its not perfect, it blocks out nearly all of the cheats compared to MM.
Faceit ac is the best AC in the market. And if you are asking for a perfect system perfection doesnt exist irl
