Completing the Square - In this video i will break down the process of Completing the Square in a quadratic equation. Completing square is primarily used to find the turning point of a quadratic curve but can also be used to find the x intercepts

In the third example, I think you made a mistake. The end part of it "+5-2^2" you solved it as 5-4=-1 when it should actually be 1. It has changed the answer from (-2, 2) which was correct to (-2, -2) which is incorrect if I'm right
sir in the 3rd example 5-4 is 1 right not -1? or is there any formula to that

I have been doing it by expanding. Thus this method was way too confusing. Now I get stuck in complex examples in As, For e.g As maths p13 oct nov 2021. : (
It’s actually easier by expanding, but this method is specified in our igcse questions so we have to learn it
