🤩👍 Soudainly I'm light as a cloud and my painfull heart dancing like a fresh free prisoner. Sometimes the ''random'' algorithm of youtube offer shiny jewelry like this. It feed my soul full with happiness and power. Thanks a lot
I now feel the need to see tv footage of them but I guess that's going to have to wait even though it's the 1970s and it's already (sort of) happened? ☹️🤔 Much respect to you for putting the link and namecheck for the terrestrial Zambian stuff by the way and those artists concerned!
Samuel McHaclameny was heavily influenced by this band/music when he crafted his critically acclaimed post-Dodos album "Rock Group Leaving Before The Bill Is Due"
So I don't claim to be an expert in Zamrock, but I have listened to just about everything on youtube and available via modern platforms. The AI generated zamrock concept is cool, but the music here sounds nothing like actual Zamrock. In fact, it's far more reminiscent of early Western African rock (Nigeria, Ghana, etc) than Zambian rock. I'd be curious what AI generated music would sound like if only Zambian rock sources were used. There is a wealth of it on youtube if you can get past the crackle and pops on the beat up old records that the music is inevitably found on. Fun overall concept though.
AI makes all the sound and the voice. I write the lyrics and the instructions for the elements of a song (voice, timber, keys, rhythm, bpm, instruments, style, composition, etc.) and I do the mixing. The more specific the instructions, the more control over the outcome. Generic instructions make generic sounds. Most AI programs can't recognize band/song references, plus the software and terms of use don't allow using other people's property. Its trial and error to find references the ai understands to build a track, takes research. There's additional mixing or editing in Audacity, photoshopping album designs, and producing the videos. I mix bits and pieces from my draft tracks or apply effects to get what I'm looking for. But the instruments, voices, etc. you are hearing are ai generated.

What you're producing is simply just the kind what I like. Especially these Afrikan beats. Incredible. Mind blowing.
what the hell.. it's brilliant. and it's ai, i don't know whether to be let down or blown away
We are under control by AI…it,s frightening, but i recognize it’s awesome
This is my favorite thing on RUclips today. Maybe this week. Or month.
Julius Lungu did some killer vocals on this album. Great voice and lead guitar. Kwame Mumba's production is top notch too.
Chilumbulu is the first AI track that has made my head completely fall off 🫠
Ok I've been kind of poo pooing this AI stuff , but dammit this is good!
Здорово играют! Ни когда раньше не слышал!

Всё же лучше, чем русская лабуда.

Можешь у себя покопаться , и найти не изданный альбом Джими Хендрикса?
Wait, I don't get it. These songs were created by AI?? 😳

A Song for Emmanuel - why listen to anything else.
Computer generated!!!😂
It's really not bad! If they was singing in English - it's a world class.😁
(It's good sample: Terrible heritage of colonialism😉)
… sorta 1960-s Asian twang? not so interesting i.m.h.o.
