Voting is only 2 days with the 24 hour clock they use. I think the results are not totally based on voting, too many scents have come back that weren't top 25 during voting. I really wish they would have a nostalgia collection every catalog that includes scents that haven't been back for years instead of so many new collections that IMO underperform. There are a lot of new customers that will never get to experience the older scents. Thanks for expressing your honest opinions!
I agree with you. I don't believe so many bars with patchouli in it were voted back this round. Maybe one, but then they decided to make a bunch with patchouli in it since they have the oil.
I definitely feel like the voting is influenced. Example, I noticed how Berries Jubilee wasn't in the top 25 until Lisa Rowberry made her voting video. I'm pretty sure BananaBerry was also in the voting but then I think it got fixed. I also saw that Caramel Sugar Cone was also in the voting. There were no scents in this BBMB voting that I was attached to, so I decided to just watch.
This was an impressive video. I am so impressed with your knowledge of all the Scentsy scents. Thank you so much for this amazing video. I do agree some scents come back that I just say huh? 🤔
They're actually 200 bars 😱 The voting time is a bit short. I wish they would do voting the month after the current BBMBs go back into the vault. It's too much to do both. Since they do 2 rounds a year, I would prefer if they would be seasonally appropriate for when the release. I had a very hard time accepting Hemingway and rustic Lodge last June 😂 My last annoyance hahahahaha is I think it would be better if there was no voting loophole. I feel that if there was no way to vote more than once, people would take their time and vote for their true love instead of voting for other people's loves or just going willy nilly and voting like a loon I do appreciate the idea of BBMB though because there are some greats that I have never tried!
Gingerbread Hugs was last available in the SOTS in 2020 🙂 I haven’t been voting for it although I do remember liking it. Overall I’m happy to see the Top 25 being pretty diverse and scents we haven’t seen for a bit! Will be interesting to see what makes the cut.
I also noticed that at least one sent, caramel sugar cone, which is currently available in the bring back my bar for January 2024, was listed as an option. They did fix it, it did disappear after about an hour, or so, and I was feeling sort of gaslight, until I saw someone else’s video where they mentioned seeing it in the Voting choices. so, two cents that I am desperately trying to get back we’re still not listed, African mahogany, and spiced carrot cake, they are both very good sense, but they also have very strong emotional attachments for me, because I am blind, and cannot see photographs, and because I was too busy when my kids were little, to take a lot of audio recordings, the best thing I have to remind me of that time are sense, and those are very important to me. But they weren’t listed, but I cast literally 500 sets of five, 2500 votes for grapefruit pomegranate, and it never popped into the top 25, so I cried, then I gave up, I guess people just don’t like it enough or know about it. So I switch to red pomegranate, which I’ve only ever had encounter clean, but it smells amazing, again, 2500 votes, and it would not pop into the top 25. My hands were literally stiff from all of the tapping and swiping to cast all those votes. and this was in the first 24 hours, so I don’t know how many millions of votes are being cast, but it seems strange to me, the casting that many votes had no impact on popping either one into the top 25. The grapefruit pomegranate is very important to me, because it reminds me of another time in my life for which I don’t have audio recordings, although the red hair and pomegranate was just a for fun because it smelled good to me.

I think its rigged.....and always has been. Some of your musings, and those of a few other RUclipsrs, do sound, admittedly, kind of paranoid, but so do the things that I’m saying, so I’m not judging, because at least some of us are probably right about some of these things. Other things I noticed. The Capshaw, where it asked you to identify things visually, does have an audio challenge, and I noticed too interesting things, one is that often the audio capture option for getting an audio challenge would be dimmed, meaning, I could not vote on that consultants website, because I cannot see the pictures, and accessible option was broken. Something else I noticed was towards the end, I was just voting for three cents that were in the top 25, to help keep them there, maleficent, Lime, and sugarcane and lemon verbena, and I noticed that every time I had five votes in for lime and sugarcane, I would get a capture, but not on the other two, I was doing one sent, switching websites, then doing another, and then switching again, and doing another, so I thought, maybe it was just doing it on every third site, so I tried doing them in a random order, and it continued, only for that sent that capture. I think there are three factors that play, one is that random people Voting, who are new to Sensi, who just buy mostly in person, who don’t watch RUclips videos, vote, for the few cents they are familiar with, or things that look good from the description, even if they don’t know what they actually smell like. Then you have people who are RUclipsrs, who have a strong platform, and people follow them, for instance, we got peony petals back because of Lisa Rowberry, and we got Lona Sarah, because a couple of people shared that it was important to a consultant who had a loss in their family. But not everyone has that kind of platform to explain why they desperately would like help to get a scent voted back. And then, like you said, I think Sensi wants to put out certain fragrances, to use up inventory, or use up oils, or make things easier with which set of bars they produce as part of a bring back my bar. I did one last thing, I went through and took screenshots with a little bit of help. About 15 minutes before the voting ended, and I made note of the time and date, and all the sense that were in the top 25. They can’t have it both ways. If their system is accurate, and tracking that top 25, then that should be the list of sense that come back, maybe with one or two different if the Voting in the last 10 minutes makes some difference, but if the list looks nothing like that, then we have to conclude that either it’s rigged, and unfair, or that their web developers are incompetent, and the system is not tracking things accurately.

But I mostly do RUclips through my iPhone, and I do not have the patience to type comments on that tiny little keyboard, usings the screen reader on the iPhone. I know it’s not very professional to use dictation, because it makes errors and I don’t have the bandwidth to go back and edit my comments. But for professional emails and documents I use a computer with a screen reader instead.
So, I was going to make a video about this, but who am I kidding, I haven’t been able to upload any of the content I have prepped, for several months now, and I think it’s important to discuss this topic, so I’d rather just post my comments here, and a few other places, instead of waiting until I may, possibly, probably not, get a video posted on the subject. So, here, a few things I noticed. First of all, the voting was broken and didn’t even show up on the site until about 115 or 1:20 PM Eastern standard time. I was ready to go at 12:55, and kept refreshing pages and looking, and it simply was not there, the bring back my bars to purchase were there, but there was nothing for Voting, and yes, I did check this With a cited individual who could not find it either. When we use Google and put in the name of a consultant plus bring back my bar Voting it did pop up, but it was not listed on the actual site for about 20 minutes.
The other thing that really annoyed me, is at least two different consultants, who are RUclipsrs, one of whom I complain to directly when it wasn’t showing up right at 1 o’clock, posted videos later in the day, and these are people I like, by the way, and they said they wanted to show people where to find it on the site, since there seem to be some confusion about Where you go to vote. It may be mad, because I’m not an idiot, and the person I got to double check me is also not an idiot, we weren’t stupid, and unable to find it, it was not there. We were not confusing the current bring back my bar with the voting, the voting just wasn’t showing up. One reason that I like Metallica mom‘s channel is because she’s a sensei consultant, but she’s not so loyal to Sensi that she’ll try to cover up if they messed something up. She’s not afraid to be a little critical, respectfully critical, but still critical sometimes. Which is good.
I would also like to see whole collections brought back for vote like Hygge. That collection came out before I became a consultant and never came back except in the form of a couple of bricks.
Other than Cozy Kitchen, the Hyyge collection has never been in brick form. I really enjoyed that collection (especially Wooly Slippers and Cozy Kitchen!) and keep an eye out for it for voting. Calming Woods was up for voting a time or two but none of the others have. I hope some day Wooly Slippers will be available again!

I really don't think it is a sham. I believe it is a matter of those that have a "bigger" voice getting the word out on what they'd love to see come back. For example Very Peary Pumpkin came back a few rounds ago, because Lisa really wanted it and because she has a huge following here people voted for it. Another example, this month's BBMB Lonicera is back. And that is because there was a huge push from consultants that have a big platform, to vote it back for a Scentsy sister who lost her son and the scent reminded her of him. So people banded together and got it back. And I don't begrudge any of those people that have been able to get back those bars they love. I'm glad and I'm always down to try scents I've never tried before. I am just SO happy they changed the rules so fragrances that have been back in the past 5 years can't be voted back again. I was getting so tired of seeing the same things come back constantly. It has been so fun this round trying so many new-to-me scents. I am hoping I did enough voting this time to get Surfer Chick back. I've been voting for it for the past 4-5 years. But again I don't have the "voice" that some of the bigger channels have, so, so far I haven't had success. But I am not giving up. Eventually I can get it back(thinking positive here)! :D Thank you for your thoughts on all the wax bars. :)
I wonder too if the labels have something to do with what gets voted for. The older bars have those "boring" labels. Not as eye catching as the newer labels. I feel that helps the bar get more attention from everyday people and newer consultants.
There were bars available for voting that were not yet 4 years out of circulation. I know they said they were implementing a 5 year rule, but that clearly wasn't followed.
@@AndreaMetallicaMom can you remember what they were? I know like Bananaberry was accidentally in it, but it was taken out once Scentsy realized that it had been in a bbmb more recently. Whereas there were bars that were newer, but the 5 year rule is only for those that have been voted back in BBMB. Otherwise if a bar hadn’t been back, it just needed to be retired before June 2022. Which was why we saw scents like Coconut Daiquiri and Gingerbread Hugs. So I am curious to know what other ones they may have missed. I didn’t pay attention to bring back my bar in 2019, so maybe there were some from then that snuck through. Otherwise from the bars available in 2020 on (once they removed those couple that accidentally were put up for voting), there weren’t any that I noticed that shouldn’t have been there. But like I said, I did not pay attention to bbmb in 2019, so maybe there were some from then.🤷♀️

I always vote for surfer chick too! I want this one back so so bad! I hopped on to vote right when it opened, or should I say when it was supposed to have opened and it wasn’t up, I chatted with scentsy consultant to ask why it wasn’t up, and there were issues 🙄 I think it took about 15 minutes more and it popped up. I create a list each time of the 200 bars available to vote on and copy them into a spreadsheet along with scent descriptions…. Welp, guess what, caramel sugar cone was listed! Uh, wait this is available now to get on this January BBMB 2024! And I’ll be damned if it wasn’t tagged TOP 25?! WTH?! Why on earth are people voting for it when they can get it NOW?! I wasn’t having this, so back on Scentsy consultant support I go to mention this…. She said she would forward this up, and I was shocked, that it was instantly removed. I used to vote like crazy for things, but now I just wait until the last few hours and cast votes for five of the top 25 that are already winning that i like the most, to try to get them to win…. It worked for me for falling leaves, I bet a cast 400 votes at the end and it won!
I know the five year rule definitely went out the window in region three. I’ve only been a consultant for three years and out of curiosity in our region I counted the number of bars that had been back in a bring back my bar while I was a counsultant these past three years that were avilable for us to vote on there were 29 scents that have been back in three years that were avilable to vote for . I’m not fussed if they come back and people want to try doesnt really bother me just be honest and don’t say that is rule 🤣🤣
Egg Nog is so gross. The newer egg nog scent was much better. Gingerbread Hugs is gross too. 😬 Ugh Guava Honey - least favorite scent! I voted for Mountain Retreat a lot - i want some scents i've never tried before! I'd love to see Oxford and Peligro come back. Poinsettia pine sounds lovely. Not super excited about a lot of the scents that were popping up in the top 25. Meh. :/
What do you guys think of whipped vanilla pear? I am warming it today and I can barely smell it unless I walk up on it. However it's in a large space and I only used one cube
I got it in my bundle, but didn't warm it. I inventoried it with my stash. I got burned out on all the bakery in this collection. But I've warmed it before (4 years ago?) and liked it. I generally love anything with pear. But I can't attest to the strength this time around.

I 100% agree…. I don’t think voting matters, they do what they want…. I don’t understand the less voting days except maybe they’re tired of counting them all but I assume a computer and not people does it…. Who knows. I voted twice and quit because I think it’s a waste of my time.
I have only ever melted Coconut Daiquiri, never heard of the others. Am actually not even interested in voting for BBMB'S anymore, their usually scents I've not heard of before.

I voted several times but I found that most of the ones I like are not the top 25 so I doubt I'm going to have an impact. Also wondering why every video I watched everyone passed right by Davenport without opening it
Interesting! I didn't even remember passing it over, Davenport: The warmth of cardamom, amber and vanilla complemented by artemisia and sandalwood create a comforting, cozy fragrance. . Sounds nice!
I passed by it because I've warmed it in the past and didn't particularly care for it but I am not a big fan of amber.....white amber yes, just plain amber not much
This was hands down the best BBMB video ever 😂😂😂 Perfectly chosen swears for each bar in the 25 that didn’t belong. Last round I tried to single-handedly vote Exotic Vanilla back. I voted on a few consultants sites this round, but then lost interest out of protest over the absence of Apple Butter Frosting. Someone called out Scentsy on their FB page, and their reply said it didn’t meet the requirements: DQ before June 2022, not voted back in last 5 years, and top sales. We know it passes the first two, and I cannot imagine it wasn’t in top sales. 🥸

You can also vote on an indefinite number of consultant websites. If there’s something you really really want!

And that is because there was a huge push from consultants that have a big platform, to vote it back for a Scentsy sister who lost her son and the scent reminded her of him. So people banded together and got it back. And I don't begrudge any of those people that have been able to get back those bars they love. I'm glad and I'm always down to try scents I've never tried before.
I am just SO happy they changed the rules so fragrances that have been back in the past 5 years can't be voted back again. I was getting so tired of seeing the same things come back constantly. It has been so fun this round trying so many new-to-me scents.
I am hoping I did enough voting this time to get Surfer Chick back. I've been voting for it for the past 4-5 years. But again I don't have the "voice" that some of the bigger channels have, so, so far I haven't had success. But I am not giving up. Eventually I can get it back(thinking positive here)! :D

I wonder too if the labels have something to do with what gets voted for. The older bars have those "boring" labels. Not as eye catching as the newer labels. I feel that helps the bar get more attention from everyday people and newer consultants.
There were bars available for voting that were not yet 4 years out of circulation. I know they said they were implementing a 5 year rule, but that clearly wasn't followed.
@@AndreaMetallicaMom can you remember what they were? I know like Bananaberry was accidentally in it, but it was taken out once Scentsy realized that it had been in a bbmb more recently. Whereas there were bars that were newer, but the 5 year rule is only for those that have been voted back in BBMB. Otherwise if a bar hadn’t been back, it just needed to be retired before June 2022. Which was why we saw scents like Coconut Daiquiri and Gingerbread Hugs. So I am curious to know what other ones they may have missed. I didn’t pay attention to bring back my bar in 2019, so maybe there were some from then that snuck through. Otherwise from the bars available in 2020 on (once they removed those couple that accidentally were put up for voting), there weren’t any that I noticed that shouldn’t have been there. But like I said, I did not pay attention to bbmb in 2019, so maybe there were some from then.🤷♀️
@@AndreaMetallicaMom I just did a search for 2019 and yep there were quite a few that were available for voting this time that had made it in January 2019. Dark Harbor, Wild Whata-Melon, Sea Salt Mist to name a few. That is so interesting. I guess they need to pay attention a little better.😂

I hopped on to vote right when it opened, or should I say when it was supposed to have opened and it wasn’t up, I chatted with scentsy consultant to ask why it wasn’t up, and there were issues 🙄 I think it took about 15 minutes more and it popped up. I create a list each time of the 200 bars available to vote on and copy them into a spreadsheet along with scent descriptions…. Welp, guess what, caramel sugar cone was listed! Uh, wait this is available now to get on this January BBMB 2024! And I’ll be damned if it wasn’t tagged TOP 25?! WTH?! Why on earth are people voting for it when they can get it NOW?! I wasn’t having this, so back on Scentsy consultant support I go to mention this…. She said she would forward this up, and I was shocked, that it was instantly removed.
I used to vote like crazy for things, but now I just wait until the last few hours and cast votes for five of the top 25 that are already winning that i like the most, to try to get them to win…. It worked for me for falling leaves, I bet a cast 400 votes at the end and it won!
😂😂 All of my votes are going to Gingerbread hugs. It was last available in 2021 I think and I didn’t realize I loved it until it was gone.

I have voted for Mums and Marigolds in every BBMB vote for the last 5 years and I've never seen it hit the top 25 once :(
Marigold is not a very popular fragrance. If I ever see it again, I'll vote for it, for you.
I know the five year rule definitely went out the window in region three. I’ve only been a consultant for three years and out of curiosity in our region I counted the number of bars that had been back in a bring back my bar while I was a counsultant these past three years that were avilable for us to vote on there were 29 scents that have been back in three years that were avilable to vote for . I’m not fussed if they come back and people want to try doesnt really bother me just be honest and don’t say that is rule 🤣🤣
Egg Nog is so gross. The newer egg nog scent was much better. Gingerbread Hugs is gross too. 😬 Ugh Guava Honey - least favorite scent! I voted for Mountain Retreat a lot - i want some scents i've never tried before! I'd love to see Oxford and Peligro come back. Poinsettia pine sounds lovely. Not super excited about a lot of the scents that were popping up in the top 25. Meh. :/
What do you guys think of whipped vanilla pear? I am warming it today and I can barely smell it unless I walk up on it. However it's in a large space and I only used one cube
I got it in my bundle, but didn't warm it. I inventoried it with my stash. I got burned out on all the bakery in this collection. But I've warmed it before (4 years ago?) and liked it. I generally love anything with pear. But I can't attest to the strength this time around.

I 100% agree…. I don’t think voting matters, they do what they want…. I don’t understand the less voting days except maybe they’re tired of counting them all but I assume a computer and not people does it…. Who knows. I voted twice and quit because I think it’s a waste of my time.
I have only ever melted Coconut Daiquiri, never heard of the others. Am actually not even interested in voting for BBMB'S anymore, their usually scents I've not heard of before.

Breakfast blend is good. Coffee Tree is a bit bitter. I like Mochadoodle because it's got a little chocolate in it

I voted several times but I found that most of the ones I like are not the top 25 so I doubt I'm going to have an impact. Also wondering why every video I watched everyone passed right by Davenport without opening it
Interesting! I didn't even remember passing it over, Davenport: The warmth of cardamom, amber and vanilla complemented by artemisia and sandalwood create a comforting, cozy fragrance.

This was hands down the best BBMB video ever 😂😂😂 Perfectly chosen swears for each bar in the 25 that didn’t belong. Last round I tried to single-handedly vote Exotic Vanilla back. I voted on a few consultants sites this round, but then lost interest out of protest over the absence of Apple Butter Frosting. Someone called out Scentsy on their FB page, and their reply said it didn’t meet the requirements: DQ before June 2022, not voted back in last 5 years, and top sales. We know it passes the first two, and I cannot imagine it wasn’t in top sales. 🥸
