Draper is a terrible front runner, he seems to always play better when he is behind in matches. This open proves it, he has been 2 sets to 1 down in all 3 rounds so far.
I am too. WHAT a hard time he has had getting through to the fourth round. He has shown far more toughness than I think he has previously been given credit for. Now he faces his good friend Carlos Alcaraz. Bless you Jack.
@Hbear99: Yeah, Tennis pro´s are all known for not making a drama about anything, Kyrgios, McEnroe, Rublev, Medvedev beating the hell out of a videocamera in the net recently, sure.
Bravo both players. In the end Draper held his nerves a little better. On that net cord point l think not to apologize here is fairest for the unlucky opponent due to score. we need to address the current trajectory of promising young tennis player Jack Draper. Recent performances, particularly his three difficult five-set wins against low-ranked opponents, have left many underwhelmed.
he;s shown signs of being a high quality player, fitness was the biggest question which hes now proving... With that said I don't see how he gets past Alcaraz having spent 3x the time on the court and wouldn't be likely to win anyway
He won't make it past the next round because he's playing one of the two best players in the world and probably the tournament winner. What's that got to do with the Top 50? He's beaten plenty of players in the Top 20 in the past (including Alcaraz). There's no question mark over his ability to beat top players.
@hertor8803 stop the dick riding , he's a bit of a cheat , even here not the best sport, but besides that he hasnt played any top players this tournament yet he is on 5 set benders, thats the point im making

He needs to be thankful the last two were night matches. If they had been in the day I don't think he'd have made it. Still, great effort.

The match that was insane congrats Draper🔥👏
Neither player deserved to lose.
yes, at the end it was a toss of the coin, both players fought bravely. And great sportsnmanship of Draper at time of congrats
Draper is tough af, he was basically outhit and outplayed on the 4th and he still pulled through. His serve is underrated
Not completely outmatched in the 4th - He had two service games in a row where Vukic didn't get a single point.
Also consistent disruption from the crowd on key points during his service game too from the crowd every match... Great mental resilience and focus!
Well played Jack👏👏👏🇬🇧
C'mooooonnnnn Jack!! You did It !!!!
well done Jack onto the next one!
3 in a row coming from 2-1 set down but man, what a strong mentally that is
You see some spectators actually PRAYING for their favourite player to win. How much more ridiculous can some people get ?
Epic. But the moment Vukic decided not to make a drama out of the "net-moment" I became a Vukic fan.
@@tims.2832 because there was nothing to make a drama about?
He got his foot away by mere mm's you can tell because the net would have rippled slightly
@ contrary to Vukic we got a slow motion replay and I still can’t tell if his shoe laces touched the net ever so slightly.

do you think marathon runners should earn 100 times more than 100m sprint runners because they run for 2h instead of 10 seconds?
