Hallo Felix, vielen Dank für Ihre großartigen Videos! Ich bin ein Student, der das A Level macht. Ich habe in Ihrem Video gesehen, dass, wie Sie erwähnt haben, deutsche Universitäten im Allgemeinen nicht in Betracht ziehen, ein Schuljahr zu wiederholen. Ich habe jedoch ein einziges Fach, das ich unbedingt wiederholen möchte, um meinen DN zu optimieren. Ich habe jetzt fünf A-Level-Fächer belegt, von denen ich nur eines (d.h. Further Mathematics) wiederholen möchte, da meine anderen vier Fächer (Bio, Chem, Physik und Mathe) bereits die Höchstnote erreicht haben, die einer 1,0 im Abitur entspricht. Könnte ich wissen, ob in diesem Fall meine Wiederholungsnote in diesem einen Fach anerkannt wird? Ich danke Ihnen vielmals. :) LG
Thank you Felix for making this video. Is C1 in German enough? I have heard some places also require IELS(English certificates) as well. Is it only for private schools that teach in English? Or public med schools also want it? Thank you for your time!
When you say you can’t repeat high school, does that include A levels? I repeated my A levels this November because I wanted a higher grade to increase my chances of admission.
I'm talking about foreign Students with an Highschool Diploma, coming to Germany and resitting the last year of Highschool there - therefore doing their Abitur in only one year! But its very cool that you were able to do it in your case! Best of luck for your application!!
Please i would like to learn from you if it is possible to study medicine in Germany with a bachelor's degree in biochemistry from Cameroon in other words can someone skip studienkolleg if he has bachelors in biochemistry? And also is it too difficult to study medicine in German for some someone who just learned the language?
Hey Mayi pls excuse the late reply - YES if you did prior academic studies there is a chance that you can skip FSP and Studienkolleg and enroll directly! Best of Luck to you !
If your grade12 results are weak does it mean you will not get admitted as a foreigner for medicine in Germany ? And there is nothing you can do about it? ( As you said there is no repeating)
There is no repeating that is right! But you can always stack other things in your favour! Do an internship, do preparatory courses, maybe apply for a medicine related subject first and then try to switch! There is always a Way...
Hi doctor Felix If I am an iraqian student and my german level is approximately B1 and I am in 11th grade and also I am from Iraq which is non EU and I learned a profession already if in 12th grade I get enough grades to be able to study medicine in my country can I study medicine in Germany? And thanks for the vedio
Hey - You will need to do either a DSH course and Exam until DSH 2/3 or do the Telc. C1 Hochschule language certificate. Otherwise a application is not possible :( best of Luck!

Is it possible to study the language in Germany on a student visa then start medicine studies? Any recommendations?

Felix...In public medical universities, in which subjects text books are written? English or German?
Usually Textbooks are in german. But you can always just use your own, english textbooks if thats easier for you!
